FC Bayern Muenchen Unveils New Signing Leroy Sane

It is no secret that Bayern Munich were admirers of Leroy Sane for some time now. In fact, Sane was supposed to move to Bavaria in the summer of 2019, only for the deal to fall through after the winger suffered a serious injury.

Now fully fit, Bayern Munich have paid Manchester City €45 million for his services. The Germany international is a strong, fast and technically gifted winger who has all the tools required to become a top class performer.

With the arrival of Sane, Bayern Munich's attack looks complete. With Robert Lewandowski leading the line, Serge Gnabry and Sane flanking him and Thomas Muller just behind the striker, manager Hansi Flick has a frightening attack force at his disposal.

Manchester City were quick to replace Sane though; Valencia winger Ferran Torres arrived for a fee of €23 million a week ago.

#1 TIMO WERNER, RB LEIPZIG TO CHELSEA

Chelsea have already begun their summer shopping, having agreed to sign Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Werner, in particular, is an astute signing. One of the best young strikers in the world, the Germany international was in fine form last season in the Bundesliga. He scored 28 goals in 34 league appearances for Julian Nagelsmann's side.

Chelsea have paid RB Leipzig a fee of £47.5 million, and the 24-year old will compete with Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud for Chelsea's striker spot. Capable of playing on the left-wing as well, it will be interesting to see how Chelsea manager Frank Lampard utilises him.

Liverpool were extremely interested in signing Werner, but it has been suggested that they couldn't afford the fee.
