Phil Foden was tipped as one of the best youngsters to have come through at Manchester City for a few years now. The English wonderkid has quietly learnt his trade from some of the best in the business, including David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne. In 2020-21, he stepped up even further and showed the world what he could do if allowed to start games on a regular basis.

Foden is comfortably one of the most exciting players who could be on show at Euro 2020 after a truly brilliant season. He's shown great versatility and has impressed heavily with his multi-faceted skill-set. He's scored goals, executed sublime passes, and shown an uncanny amount of composure in high-pressure in the final third.

The City star was one of their highest goal contributors in all competitions, with 16 goals and ten assists. Foden will hope to build on his six England caps and break onto the international scene this summer.

Portugal are at the start of a very exciting generation of young footballers coming through, and Joao Felix leads the pack as arguably the most talented star. The Portuguese forward became one of the most expensive players of all time at the age of 19 when Atletico Madrid paid a massive €127m to sign him in 2019.

Whether or not he's managed to have an instant impact in Spain, there is little doubt over the fact that Felix is one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe. His exquisite close control, spatial awareness and ability to pick a pass make him a dangerous player for any player to defence to stop. Felix has ten goals and a further six assists to show for across all fronts this season.

Playing alongside the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Jota, and other brilliant players, Felix could have a massive impact at Euro 2020. He's already racked up 16 appearances for the Selecao, scoring three goals.

#1 Mason Mount | England | Age: 22

After the season he's had, Mason Mount barely needs an introduction as he's established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world at the age of 22. The Englishman has had a phenomenal campaign for Chelsea and has been their most consistent performer throughout the season. Mount combines his excellent creative ability with industry, working tirelessly for his side in every game.

He was one of their UEFA Champions League heroes as well, scoring in the semi-final against Real Madrid and assisting the winning goal in the final. Mount was deservedly crowned Chelsea's Player of the Year and he is, without a doubt, one of the best young players in world football at the moment.

Gareth Southgate will surely be able to count on Mount at the upcoming Euros and provide him with an opportunity to galvanise himself as an England regular. Mount's versatility is surely something that will help the manager as well. The 22-year-old has played 16 times for the Three Lions so far, scoring four goals.
