Philip Walter Foden is an English professional footballer who plays for Manchester City and the England Under-21 national team. He was born on 28th May, 2000 in Stockport, England.


Career

Foden joined the Manchester City academy at the age of eight in 2000 and signed his Academy scholarship in 2016. In the summer of 2017, Foden was a part of the club's pre-season tour and he impressed. On 21st November, 2017, he finally made his debut for Manchester City against Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League.

For England, Foden burst onto the scene at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. He led England to glory and won the Golden Ball in the process.
