Atletico Madrid starlet Antoine Griezmann has dropped the biggest hint yet that he wants to join Manchester United. Paul Pogba and Griezmann are on duty with the French national team, as European teams head into the international break.

Griezmann is currently suffering a dip in form in La Liga and has not scored for six games but his coach Diego Simeone is very confident he will get back to scoring ways sooner rather than later.

However, recently Pogba and Griezmann have been sharing photos together on social media highlighting their friendship and the Atletico forward spoke to Sky Sports as well regarding this recently.

"I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United," Griezmann told Sky in Germany.

"I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure.

"I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they're really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.”

The pair will be in action for France against Sweden in their World Cup Qualifier on Friday at the Stade de France. His interest in Manchester United should put the struggling Premier League club on high alert. United currently lack proficient forwards and the Atletico Madrid striker could definitely provide the goals for United if the move does materialise.

The Frenchman has been one of the most in-demand players in Europe after his goal scoring exploits both for Atletico and for France, especially at Euro 2016. Griezmann is quick, has a good eye for goal and can finish extremely well.

Griezmann, however, remains coy and somewhat clarifies that he is going nowhere, while not ruling out a future alongside Paul Pogba.

"You hear a lot of things [speculation] about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day," said Griezmann.

Griezmann has scored 8 goals in 14 games for Atletico this season and looks all set to beat his tally of 29 goals last season if he overcomes his slight dip in form.

Although Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has already spent a considerable amount of money in the transfer window, it still doesn’t seem to have helped United’s league position.

Nevertheless, these statements by Griezmann should excite Manchester Untied fans all around the world.

It remains to be seen whether the transfer does materialise in the future, but it is Griezmann’s strongest hint yet that he wants to join his friend Pogba at Manchester United in England.
