Jose Mourinho planning a £25million raid on Chelsea
Jose Mourinho is ready to bring Chelsea’s unsettled winger Willian in a £25million bid in January. Willian has failed to break into Antonio Conte’s starting XI after a combination of injury, affliction and international forced the Brazilian out . Mourinho is a big admirer of Willian’s abilities going forward and tracking back as well. United are yet to find a consistent player from wide positions with Willian targetted as a potential January signing.
Will Hughes puts Premier League giants on alert
Talented English midfielder Will Hughes has rejected a new long-term deal from Championship side Derby County and has put all the Premier League teams on alert. Manchester City and Liverpool were linked with Hughes last summer but the player chose to stay in Championship. Daily Star, however, has claimed that Hughes is ready to quit Derby in favour of a move to a Premier League side.
Manchester City target a world class defender in January
As per the latest reports from Guardian, Manchester City have held a brief discussion and are set to hold a board meeting in Abu Dhabi at the weekend, with Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the chairman, ready to sanction the acquisition of a central defender if Pep Guardiola wants to bring a dependable player in January. City were previously linked with Georgio Chiellini and David Alaba earlier in the summer.
Bony latest to join the Chinese Super League bandwagon
Stoke City have been hit with new piece of information about a clause in Wilfried Bony's contract which allows the player to leave in January despite being on loan with the club until end of the season. However, Bony can only leave for a Chinese Super League side during the upcoming transfer window.
Griezmann to Manchester United could yet happen
Atletico Madrid are preparing a £30m bid for Monaco star Thomas Lemar, as fears are growing around Antoine Griezmann’s future at the club who has been linked with a move to Manchester United next summer. Griezmann has openly admitted his admiration for the club in the past and his desire to play with Paul Pogba at the club level which has made Atletico wary of his long-term stay at Vicente Calderon.
Sturridge set for a swap deal with Southampton
Daniel Sturridge is set to leave Liverpool in January, according to reports where Daily Express are saying that a swap deal could be on the cards with Premier League club Southampton. Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Virgil Van Dijk and Sam McQueen and is prepared to offer Sturridge in a deal potential involving £40million.
