An exciting London Derby was what all neutrals wanted and Chelsea ensured that it happened. The Blues went a goal down early on in the game but came back strong with Victor Moses hitting the winner. Chelsea ended Tottenham’s unbeaten streak and maintained their stay on the top of the table.

Arsenal struggled but ultimately won a hard fought battle against Bournemouth as they beat the Cherries 3-1 with a brace from Alexis Sanchez. Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have been unable to come out of their unlucky form as their match against West Ham United ended in a draw. Mourinho now has fewer points than his predecessors Louis van Gaal and David Moyes at the same stage in the league during their respective tenures.

This gameweek features the two tacticians, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte going up against each other as Manchester City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. Let’s hope that the fixture lives up to our expectations and proves to be a cracker of a match.

Arsenal will not want to lose sight of the leading pack and will put in their best as they face London rivals West Ham United. Elsewhere, Liverpool who lost key player Coutinho will hope that they do not breakdown in the absence of their midfield wizard.

Here are 5 players we believe could do well in the coming Gameweek 14:

#5 Harry Kane

Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane is now completely match-fit, having started all 3 previous league matches. The player has scored thrice after coming back and looks a promising pick when you look at the run of fixtures Spurs have.

The Englishman also takes penalties for the club, which is a huge supplement to his otherwise open play goal scoring abilities.Kane had a decent outing against Chelsea and even scored once, only for the goal to be ruled offside. Spurs play their next game at White Hart Lane against Swansea City, who conceded 4 goals in their last match against Palace.

Swansea City have shown defensive vulnerability in the air, and the London club can exploit their weakness.

Next 3 fixtures: Swansea(H), Man Utd(A), Hull City (H)

#4 Theo Walcott

The Arsenal winger has been superb for the Gunners after being heavily criticised last season. Walcott has come back with a bang and has been involved in a total of 9 goals this season consisting of 6 goals and 3 assists. The player offers superb bang for buck due to his modest price coupled with great returns.

The Englishman celebrated the birth of his second son with a great goal against Bournemouth as the Gunners won their match 3-1. The player has set a personal target of 10 goals by Christmas and if his solid form continues, there is a great chance that he’ll be able to accomplish the same.

Arsenal play their next game against London rivals West Ham United and will hope to win it so as to not lose sight of table leaders. West Ham have won just once in their last 5 matches in the league and sit just one point above the relegation zone. Arsenal should make sure that they exploit the defensive fallibility of the West Ham defence and come back with all 3 points.

Next 3 fixtures: West Ham United(A), Stoke City(H), Everton(A)

#3 Gareth McAuley

The West Brom defender has been a favourite of FPL managers this year as he has been a great option, being a goalscoring defender. The player has scored thrice over the duration of the season and has been a rock solid part of the Baggies backline.

West Brom play their next game against Watford who’ve not shown efficiency in the attacking department in the last few matches. The Hornets have been struggling and a defender from West Brom should provide you with good returns. McAuley is a big aerial threat and Watford will have to ensure that he does not get any clean headers.

Next 3 fixtures: Watford(H), Chelsea(A), Swansea(H)

#2 Lee Grant

The backup goalkeeper has been immense for Stoke in the absence of first choice keeper Jack Butland. Grant is originally a Derby County player who is on loan to Stoke City. According to rumours, Stoke are impressed by the player’s performance so much that they’re looking towards buying the player.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes has admitted that he will face a huge dilemma once Butland is back since Grant has performed brilliantly for the Potters. At a price of 4.1, Grant is easily affordable and a brilliant choice for a second keeper. Stoke are up against Burnley who have been unable to really make a huge mark offensively except one game against Crystal Palace.

Next 3 fixtures: Burnley(H), Arsenal(A), Southampton(3)

#1 Diego Costa

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has left no stone unturned this season with brilliant performances and hunger for goals. The striker has been involved in at least one goal in 11 out of the 13 matches that he has played so far in the league. With 10 goals and 4 assists, Costa is currently the second highest points getter in the game, just one point behind teammate Eden Hazard.

Chelsea will travel away this week to the Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City, a team which have been quite leaky at the back. The onus will be on Costa to make the most out of the unstable City backline and get the desired result for Chelsea.

Next 3 fixtures: Manchester City(A), West Brom(A), Sunderland(A)
