Yoel plays the goal difference game
Not that it really matters in Spain, given teams with equal points are separated via their head-to-head records, but Celta Vigo’s Yoel played his part in keeping his sides goal difference down at Balaidos on Tuesday night.
Luis Enrique’s side were equal to Barcelona in an exciting, end-to-end first half.
They found themselves 1-0 down at the break though, and once Cesc Fabregas added an early second-half brace that was that.
It then turned into a competition between Barca – namely Lionel Messi – and Yoel.
The 25-year-old stopper emerged the winner though; he made six saves throughout the match, including five, highly impressive ones, from Messi.
