#3 Alvaro Morata continues fine run of form since his return to Juventus

There were more than a few raised eyebrows when Juventus sanctioned the loan purchase of Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid five years after he departed Turin.

The Spain international had not exactly covered himself in glory in the intervening years, and many questioned whether he was the right man to lead the club's attack.

Despite the scepticism, the 28-year-old has settled well into his new surroundings and is once again finding the back of the net on a regular basis.

When he coolly slotted home a cross by Chiesa in the 66th minute, it marked his eighth goal from 11 appearances in all competitions to add to his assist for Ronaldo's goal earlier in the night.

Furthermore, it was his sixth strike in this season's Champions League, making him the first Juventus player since the legendary David Trezeguet in 2001 to score that many goals in the Champions League group stage.

Morata is, of course, a player who performs in streaks, and fans of the club would be hoping he can keep his fine form going for the rest of the season.

The former Chelsea man will be unavailable for the Turin derby with Torino this weekend following his two-game ban for the red card received in Serie A against Benevento. However, he would be available to face Barcelona next weekend.

#2 Federico Chiesa puts up dominant performance

Federico Chiesa emerged as one of the brightest Italian talents following his performances for Fiorentina, and a move to one of the bigger Serie A clubs had been mooted for the last few years.

That move finally came in the form of a two-year loan to Juventus but the Italy international struggled to make his mark in the early part of the season.

He, however, gave his most dominant performance in a Juventus shirt to date and was the most potent attacking force for the home side in their routine victory against Dynamo Kyiv.

The 23-year-old was full of his trademark running in his wing-back role and proved to be a handful for Vitaly Mykolenko on the opposite flank.

Chiesa had a hand in all three goals, opening the scoring with a well-timed header, before his pristine cross into the box caused mayhem in the Kyiv area and allowed Ronaldo to score the club's second. He also provided the assist for Morata's goal.

In what was a man-of-the-match display, the Italy international made a game-high three key passes, had four tackles and made one interception.

#1 Record-breaking Ronaldo writes his name into the record books yet again

Fresh from being named the winner of the 2020 Golden Foot, Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved why he deserves such accolades with another record-breaking performance for Juventus.

At this point, almost everything the Madeira native touches turns to gold. Against Dynamo Kyiv, he wrote his name into the record books for what seems like the billionth time.

The Portugal skipper was handed a well-deserved break over the weekend following his hectic international schedule, and it was no surprise to see Juventus struggle in his absence.

The Italian champions are simply not the same side without their talisman and despite turning 36 in a few months, Ronaldo still gives Juventus a cutting edge in attack that is sorely missing in his absence.

His strike against Dynamo Kyiv happened to be his 75th goal for Juventus, as well as his 750th career goal, with 648 of those coming at club level while 102 have been scored in the colours of Portugal.

It was also his 71st goal in the Champions League group stage, taking him one clear of Lionel Messi to have the record all to himself. Meanwhile, his gap of 13 years and 25 days between his last goal against Dynamo Kyiv is also the longest gap between goals by a single player against the same opponent in Champions League history.

Having seen his side falter without him, Ronaldo would be raring to go when Juventus host Torino, while he would also have scores to settle with Barcelona next week.
