#10 Dejan Lovren (Defender) - £100,000 per week
It might be hard to believe but 31-year-old Dejan Lovren is the second-highest earning defender of the Liverpool squad. The Serbian international was a key member of the squad before the signing of Van Dijk and the rise of Joe Gomez. Now, he is nothing more than a fringe player who acts as a backup for the centre-back duo.
His high wage is one of the reasons why there are not a lot of suitors for him in the transfer market, but with his contract set to expire next summer, there's still a lot of time for the club to work out a deal to offload the first Croatian to win the Premier League title.
#9 Sadio Mane (Attacker) - £100,000 per week
Yes, Liverpool's Sadio Mane, one of the best wingers in the Premier League, makes the same amount of money as his team's second choice defenders. Mane had signed a long term deal with the Reds in 2018 and despite playing a key role in their Champions League and league triumphs, has not renegotiated new terms with the club.
The player has a good relationship with Klopp and it is unlikely that he will leave the club anytime soon, despite being linked to clubs like Real Madrid. What is more possible is that he will sign a new, much-improved contract which, according to reports, could see him become the club's highest earner.
#8 Adam Lallana (Midfielder) - £110,000 per week
Adam Lallana is another talented Liverpool player whose injuries prevented him from reaching his full potential at Anfield. When he was fit, especially in the 2016-17 campaign, the English midfielder produced remarkable numbers and was a key player in the middle of the pitch.
But his struggles with injuries and a change in Liverpool's strategy mean his style of play does not suit the Reds anymore. He agreed to a short term contract extension that would see him play as a Liverpool player until the end of the season, but it is expected that he will depart the club after the season comes to an end.
#7 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Midfielder) - £120,000 per week
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a key utility player for Klopp for the last two seasons, especially because of his ability to play comfortably in the middle of the pitch or as a winger. It seems like Oxlade-Chamberlain has been around in the English top-flight forever, but he is only 26 years old and reaching the peak of his career.
Given his abilities to shoot from distance and run at the defenders with pace, he plays an important role in creating chances in the second half of the game as a substitute. Hence, paying £120,000 per week to such a player at the peak of his powers doesn't seem like a waste of money.
#6 Naby Keita (Midfielder) - £120,000 per week
Naby Keita was brought to Anfield with much fanfare from RB Leipzig in 2018, where he played a key role in their top-four finish that season. It was expected that he will assume a role in the middle of the pitch upon his arrival, but two years on and he has struggled to carve a space for himself in Liverpool's packed midfield. With Henderson, Wijnaldum and Fabinho in top form, game time has been limited for the Guinean midfielder.
He has impressed in his recent outings with his ability to press high, win the ball, and launch counter-attacks. At 25, he still has room for improvement, but he must improve fast to justify his six-figure weekly wage.
#5 James Milner (Midfielder) - £140,000 per week
As mentioned earlier, Liverpool's wage bill is not very high and the main reason for that is the fact that some of the biggest stars at the club all have reasonable wages. The club's top five earners are also their top performers and at number five we have James Milner.
Milner brings something very unique to the table for Klopp with his versatility and work rate. He is also among the most experienced player in the squad and thus, it is no wonder why he has a weekly wage of £140,000. The 33-year-old joined the Reds on a free transfer from Manchester City in June 2015 and his current deal expires in 2022. It is highly unlikely that his wage will receive a boost now.

Jordan Henderson has seen his stock rise exponentially under Klopp and this season, the club captain has operated at a completely different level. He has silenced his critics who questioned his technical abilities with exquisite passes and intelligent play off the ball.
The player will miss the rest of the season due to injury, but Klopp has confirmed that he will be there when his side lifts the trophy. The midfielder is a contender for PFA Player of the Season awards and justifies his hefty £140,000 a week salary.
#3 Virgil Van Dijk (Defender) - £180,000 per week
There's hardly anyone in the world that could argue against the fact that Virgil van Dijk is one of the top centre-backs in the game at present. The player reportedly benefited from Harry Maguire's move to Manchester United last summer, as this prompted Liverpool to offer the player an improved contract that saw a hike in his weekly salary from £125,000 to £180,000 under the new contract that he signed in September last year.
He has been recognized by multiple honours thanks to his incredible 2018-19 season, when he won the PFA Players' Player of the year, UEFA Men's Player of the year, and came second behind Lionel Messi in the Ballon d'Or rankings. It will not be surprising if Liverpool decide to award him another improved deal, as PSG are reported to be interested in signing him and we all know the pockets of PSG's owners run very deep.
#2 Roberto Firmino (Attacker) - £180,000 per week
Roberto Firmino has been an ever-present figure in Liverpool's title-winning season, playing a part in every single game with only three of these appearances coming as a substitute. He has been lauded for his unselfishness in the attacking third that allows Salah and Mane to flourish and get on the scoresheet.
Despite not raking up assists and goals like his attacking partner, he remains a popular figure with the Anfield faithful, who recognise the importance of his behind the scenes performances.
He signed his current deal with the Reds in 2018 and since then has pocketed a massive £180,000 a week. Does he deserve a wage hike next season if other players get them?
#1 Mohamed Salah (Attacker) - £200,000 a week
Well, there was never a doubt as to who the best-paid player at Liverpool was. That honour goes to their top scorer and two-time Golden Boot winner Mo Salah. Since joining Liverpool, he has formed a strong partnership with Mane, who only earns half as much as the Egyptian, and has turned the Reds into a formidable attacking force.
There have been very few occasions on which the former Chelsea star has failed to deliver but even when his form took a dip, he bounced back well and got back to his scoring ways. Liverpool had lacked an accomplished finisher for the better part of the last decade and he has stepped up to the mark to fill the void.
Like Firmino, he has also not renegotiated his terms with the club since 2018 and if there is a wage revision on the cards, his agent would like to get a fair deal for him and make him one of the top five earners of the league.
