Premier League club transfer spending over five years: Manchester City and Chelsea top spending list

Manchester city owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been one of the main reasons behind City’s massive spending.

The English Premier League oversees big-name signings for big money almost every other season, especially after takeover of clubs by multi-millionaire businessmen like Sheikh Mansour and Roman Abramovich.

A study by Transfer League revealed how much did the 20 clubs in the first flight division invest season by season since the last five seasons.
