#3 2014-15 season (87 points)

Juventus FC v SSC Napoli - Serie A
Juventus FC v SSC Napoli - Serie A

Despite gaining more points with Juventus in the 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons, this season under Allegri is ranked higher due to other factors. This was the Italian's first season at the helm, and his appointment wasn't greeted by fans in cheers, having previously managed rivals AC Milan. However, he'd won over the fans come the end of May next year.

Juventus won the league with a whopping margin of 17 points, with Roma being the next best team. They also conceded just 24 goals over the course of the season, and scored 72, which meant they had the best attack and best defense in the league. Allegri also guided the Bianconeri to their first Champions League final in 12 years, but they fell short at the hands of a determined Barcelona side.

#2 2015-16 season (91 points)

Juventus FC v UC Sampdoria - Serie A
Juventus FC v UC Sampdoria - Serie A

The 2015-16 season proved to the football world that even if all isn't smooth sailing, Allegri is a manager who can carry a team through tough times and emerge victorious. His Juventus side won just three of their first 10 league games, and sat 12th in the league standings. However, what followed was beyond everyone's wildest imaginations.

Allegri's side went on an incredible winning run and drew just one game, while losing another. In short, they won 26 of their remaining 28 games and ended the season with just 20 goals conceded, despite their poor start to the campaign. Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala finished as the top scorer for Juventus.

#1 2017-18 season (95 points)

SS Lazio v Juventus - Serie A
SS Lazio v Juventus - Serie A

The highest points scoring season for Allegri as Juventus boss came in 2017-18, when Maurizio Sarri's Napoli gave the Bianconeri a run of their money. Ahead of the season, president Andrea Agnelli also unveiled the new club logo, which initially took some getting used to for football fans. A 1-0 defeat to Napoli in the 34th game of the league set up for an exciting end to the season, which wasn't usually the case.

However, Napoli failed to win any of their next two games, which permitted Juventus to eventually wrap up the title with a game to spare. The continental stage once again ended in disappointment, crashing out in the quarter-finals. Regardless, getting to 95 points in a league season is a commendable achievement, which is why this is the best season of Allegri at Juventus. The Italian manager will be keen to emulate this success in the upcoming season.
