Real Madrid secured a 3-0 win over Leganes in LaLiga at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Sunday, November 24. Kylian Mbappe, Federico Valverde, and Jude Bellingham found the back of the net to secure all three points for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos have set their sights on Harry Kane. Elsewhere, two English clubs have entered the race to sign a German defender.

On that note, let's look at the major Real Madrid transfer stories from November 25, 2024.

Real Madrid eyeing Harry Kane

Real Madrid have reignited their interest in Harry Kane, according to Fichajes. The LaLiga champions are apparently looking for a new No. 9, with the club yet to properly replace Karim Benzema.

Los Blancos are long-term admirers of Kane and were briefly linked with the Englishman during the summer of 2023. However, a move never materialized and the player went on to join Bayern Munich.

Kane has continued his goalscoring exploits with the Bavarians and has been in exquisite form this season. The 31-year-old has scored 20 goals and set up nine more from 17 games across competitions this campaign.

The Englishman remains at the top of his game and could fit perfectly into Carlo Ancelotti's setup. Real Madrid are contemplating a move for the player in 2025, but prising him away from the Allianz Arena won't be a walk in the park.

Kane is under contract with Bayern Munich until 2027 and is a key part of Vincent Kompany's plans. As such, the Bavarians may not be too keen to let him go.

However, Los Blancos have never shied away from breaking the bank from top talent and could convince their Bundesliga counterparts with a lucrative bid.

Chelsea and Manchester City want Jonathan Tah

Chelsea and Manchester City have entered the race to sign Jonathan Tah, according to Fichajes. The German defender is in the final year of his contract with Bayer Leverkusen and has already announced that he will leave next summer.

Real Madrid are planning to add more steel to their backline in 2025 following a series of injuries at the back. David Alaba is yet to recover from the injury picked up in December 2024. Meanwhile, Eder Militao is unlikely to play again this season after rupturing his ACL.

The LaLiga giants want to address the situation by roping in a new face and have Tah on their agenda. However, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also eyeing the 28-year-old with interest, and Chelsea and Manchester City have now joined the race. As such, Real Madrid won't have a free run at Tah in 2025.

Los Blancos identify Carlo Ancelotti's replacement

Santiago Solari
Santiago Solari

Real Madrid have identified Santiago Solari as an option to replace Carlo Ancelotti mid-season, according to journalist Alfredo Matilla. The Italian manager's position at the Santiago Bernabeu remains under scrutiny following back-to-back defeats against Barcelona and AC Milan.

While Ancelotti has turned things around with wins against Osasuna and Leganes, he is not completely out of danger. Los Blancos have already identified Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso as his successor and could move for the Spaniard next summer.

However, should the need for a mid-season managerial change happen, the LaLiga champions will turn to Solari. The Argentinean has previously served as an interim manager and is currently employed as a club director.

Real Madrid have apparently informed him about the role as well. While Solari is not too keen on the job, he is willing to do it for the club's sake.
