Welcome to Sportskeeda's daily transfer roundup.

With the winter transfer window done and dusted, all attention is back towards the pitch, for what promises to be an exciting second half of the season in all the major European leagues.

Several prominent teams ventured into the market to recruit reinforcements, while others did not. A number of high-profile players also switched clubs over the course of the month-long window.

Now, clubs will begin to prepare for the summer transfer market - where most of the major business happens. Expectedly, transfer speculation has failed to end with the window, and several new rumours and stories have emerged.

Today's top transfer stories feature some giant clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur, among others. They also feature some extremely popular superstars who are being touted to move to different clubs in the summer.

On that note, here is a look at the top transfer news, stories, rumours, and updates for the day:

Adrien Rabiot's refusal to sign a new contract at PSG and his subsequent suspension has reportedly made him desperate to leave the club in search of new pastures. Earlier last month, Rabiot was heavily linked with a move to Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the 23-year-old tragically lost his father a few days before the end of the winter transfer window, and the player and his family decided to put transfer business on hold until the summer transfer window.

Now, as per reports from The Daily Star, the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool have also become interested in signing Rabiot, prompting Spurs to grow fearful of the possibility that they could very well miss out on Rabiot in the summer.

Fulham's 18-year-old Ryan Sessegnon was a key figure in the club's success last season, as they found themselves being promoted to the Premier League on the back of an incredible season. However, they currently sit 19th on the table and face a high likelihood of dropping back into the Championship.

As per reports from The Daily Express, this has reportedly stalled contract talks between Fulham and Sessegnon, who only has 18 months remaining on his current contract. The report also claims that this reluctance from the player to extend his stay has caught the attention of Manchester United.

The Red Devils are reportedly monitoring the situation and are believed to be willing to make an offer of £50 million in the summer for the left-winger.

As Barcelona continue to dominate La Liga, the club's authorities have reportedly already begun planning ahead for next season. With the club certain to look for reinforcements in the summer to bolster the side, a number of names are being linked with the side.

If reports from Mundo Deportivo are to be believed, the club will look to sign a quality left-back to provide back-up for 29-year-old Jordi Alba. Lyon's 23-year-old Ferland Mendy is reportedly being hailed as the top target for the position, although Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis and Real Betis' Junior Firpo are reportedly being considered as alternatives.

Barcelona have reportedly scouted Mendy a number of times this season, and the club's director of football, Eric Abidal, is believed to be a fan of the Frenchman.

Richarlison, who joined Everton last summer for a reported fee of £40 million, is already being touted to be on his way out of the club soon. The Brazilian has reportedly garnered a lot of attention from a number of big European clubs, who are set to battle it out for his signature.

Reports from The Daily Express claim that Chelsea have now joined the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid in the line of suitors for the 21-year-old.

However, the report also claims that Maurizio Sarri-led Chelsea are reportedly leading the race for Richarlison, for whom Everton are expected to demand close to £80 million - double the fee they originally paid for him last summer.

Under the combined pressure of Real Madrid's interest in Neymar, the player's alleged unhappiness in Ligue 1, and the incessant FFP investigations, Paris Saint-Germain seem to have accepted the fact that they could very well lose Neymar in the near future.

Neymar, who became the world's most expensive player when he moved from Barcelona to PSG for a reported fee of €222 in 2017, is now allegedly disillusioned with the quality of football in the French league and is reportedly keen on a move away.

According to the latest reports from Spain (via Goal.com), PSG are wasting no time in preparing for life after Neymar, should it come to that. The French champions have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann and Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho as potential alternatives to the mercurial Brazilian.
