The 20-year-old's new contract is a 5-year deal keeping him at the club until 2024. With Arnold signed, Liverpool have now sealed all their first team players on a long-term contract.

On signing the deal, Alexander-Arnold said, “I'm ecstatic and really proud. I feel privileged to have the support and the trust the club has in me to offer me a new deal. There was no doubt in my mind to sign and extend the years I have with the club. Hopefully, we can achieve a lot of success in those years. As soon as they offered the contract, there was no hesitation whatsoever.”

Jurgen Klopp expressed his delight too and asked the Liverpool faithful to come up with a chant for the young right-back.

Anthony Martial to sign a new deal

Manchester United to sign Christian Eriksen

Manchester United will be the next club for Christian Eriksen according to AS. The Danish midfielder is reaching the final stages of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur and is refusing to sign the new deal offered to him.

He reportedly wants a huge increase in his wages but Spurs are not willing to meet him demands. The situation has alerted Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea – all three sides are keen on signing him as per reports around the United Kingdom.

AS however, claim that United have the upper hand and are the only side willing to meet his demands. Spurs reportedly quoted €250 million when Madrid asked to sign him this month but that price will go down to €100 million in the summer as he will be in the final 12 months of his contract.
