Denis Suarez determined to join Arsenal

Denis Suarez has rejected a £20 million move to West Ham as he looks increasingly likely to move to Arsenal, according to The Mirror. Unai Emery is a fan of the youngster and is looking forward to a reunion at North London having worked with the 25-year-old at Sevilla.

Arsenal are keen on signing him up in January and have already officially made contact with the Cules over a potential deal. However, Barcelona are not making it easy for the Gunners even though Spaniard has rarely featured for Ernesto Valverde's side this term.

Arsenal are reportedly keen on securing a loan move for Suarez with the option of making the switch permanent in the future. Barcelona, meanwhile, want an assurance from the Gunners that they will shell out £20 million in the summer if they are to onboard the midfielder now.

West Ham decided to take advantage of this situation and launched a £20 million bid themselves. However, the Hammers' approach was rebuffed by Suarez who has eyes set on a move to the Emirates.

Denis Suarez is no stranger to the Premier League and has spent 2 years at Manchester City from 2011 to 2013 before returning to Barcelona. He was subsequently loaned out to Sevilla and then moved to Villareal for an undisclosed sum. However, Barcelona triggered the buy-back clause in his contract and bought him back after one season.

Mousa Dembele set to depart Tottenham Hotspur

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele is close to a transfer deal that will see him swap England for China with Beijing Guoan already in talks over a £11 million deal which could reportedly be finalized in the coming days.

Mousa Dembele's current contract at Tottenham runs out in the summer. He currently earns £80,000 per week at the North London club. However, if he does move to China, he will see that amount substantially increase.

The Belgian has been sidelined far too many times over the past two seasons and would be keen to ply his trade in a less taxing environment. Spurs are also looking to trim their squad and cut down on the number of overseas players. As such, the potential deal plays out to everyone's liking.

Inter Milan to sell Ivan Perisic in order to sign Savic

Calcio Mercato claims that Inter Milan are considering offloading Croatian forward and top Manchester United transfer target Ivan Perisic in order to facilitate funds for a potential deal for Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Inter Milan are resigned to having a quiet winter transfer window. However, they are planning ahead of the summer and will look at the end of the season as a time to make some big waves in the market.

Perisic is likely to depart in the summer as it is highly unlikely that Lazio will even consider selling their star player halfway through the season.

Real Madrid have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur over a potential deal for Christian Eriksen, as per the Independent. Real Madrid are hoping to prise the midfielder away for a £100 million deal.

With Toni Kroos and Luka Modric evidently not getting any younger, Los Blancos are now looking for a top player who can be the creative force at the Bernabeu for years to come and Eriksen fits the bill. Eden Hazard is another Premier League player who has been heavily linked with the European Champions.

Eriksen has not bothered to renew his contract at Tottenham despite the club being ready to offer him £200,000-£250,000 a week and it has been claimed that his concerns lie beyond his current salary.

Bayern Munich have also been linked with Eriksen but the report suggests that Eriksen is unlikely to leave Spurs if not for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Chelsea look to sign Karim Benzema in the coming days

Chelsea's goalscoring woes are well documented and the club seems to be struggling to move onto their next phase of development under Maurizio Sarri with Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata sharing the goalscoring duties. As such, they have been widely tipped to make a move for an established goalscorer this term.

Now according to The Mirror, Chelsea could sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in January. The report claims that betting site Ladbrokes have now suspended the betting on a potential move for Benzema.

If Benzema does indeed arrive at Stamford Bridge, that could pave the way for Morata to head back to the LaLiga with Sevilla. The report adds that Sevilla are keen on taking Morata on loan.
