Two giants of the European game were drawn together in the quarterfinals of this season’s Champions League, as Bayern Munich and Juventus were pitted against each other in the last eight of the competition.
The draw however was relatively kinder to the two Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, as both avoided the bigger names, and will play Turkish side Galatasaray and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively.
In the remaining game, the 3rd remaining Spanish team in the competition, Malaga, drew the dangerous Borussia Dortmund.
The overall draw is as follows (teams named first will play home legs first):
Malaga vs Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid vs Galatasaray
PSG vs Barcelona
Bayern Munich vs Juventus
The first leg will be played on the 2nd and 3rd of April, with the return fixtures on the 9th and 10th of the month.
