CM- Joe Willock- 8.5

Willock is quickly becoming Aaron Ramsey's direct replacement with the energy and drive he brings from midfield. He helped himself to a goal and was a threat throughout the game. His game awareness and positioning are very encouraging to see and suggest he could have a long and successful career in midfield for Arsenal.

LW- Reiss Nelson- 7

Nelson seems to have been overtaken by Bukayo Saka in the pecking order despite the hype that was around him at the beginning of the season. Nevertheless, Nelson looked energetic and drove the attack forward. He certainly has some way to go before playing in the Premier League though.

RW- Ainsley Maitland-Niles- 7

Maitland-Niles was finally given the chance to play in his preferred position on the right-wing and looked solid if not unspectacular. He combined well with Bellerin and looked lively. It remains to be seen in which position his future lies.

ST- Gabriel Martinelli- 9

Gabriel Martinelli has four goals and an assist in two games for Asrenal.
Gabriel Martinelli has four goals and an assist in two games for Asrenal.

Few expected Martinelli to make the impact he is making at the moment. With four goals in his last two games, Martinelli is seizing his chance playing as a striker and despite being a winger originally, has a real striker's instinct. His first goal was a brilliant header while for the second he carefully placed a precise shot. The Brazilian starlet was also the provider for Ceballos's goal in the second half. Arsenal have a real gem on their hands in Martinelli.
