Given that this new camera angle will only be activated in Chapter 4, Season 2, those who can access it now are doing so via a minor in-game glitch. The glitch is exclusive, as players need access to the Save The World mode (paid) to activate it. Furthermore, this glitch doesn't seem to work in the normal Battle Royale mode. It can only be activated in Team Rumble and Creative Mode. With that said, here are the steps needed to activate it:Start Fortnite and go to the Save The World modeOpen the "Settings" option and look for 'Extra Game Options"Find the 'First-Person Camera" option and toggle "On" to activate the glitchOnce done, go back to Team Rumble mode and try it out.Remember, a few things do not work as intended since this feature is unfinished. For instance, certain weapons do not have a first-person perspective, the camera zooms in and out while Sprinting, and users can become invisible when using a DMR. Here are a few in-game screenshots showcasing the bugs:1) Gliding/Diving animations are brokenLanding animations are broken when the first-person mode glitch is active (Image via Epic Games/Fortnite)After switching to the 'glitched' first-person mode, the animations associated with diving/gliding are broken when players jump off the Battle Bus. They do not reset even after the player redeploys during the match.2) When sprinting, the camera zooms in too muchSprinting when using the first-person mode glitch blocks the player's POV (Image via Epic Games/Fortnite)When Sprinting with the first-person mode camera is activated, players will only see the backside of their character in-game. This severely limits the field of view and makes it nearly impossible to see what's directly in front of the character.3) Aiming down sight (ADS) with DMR results in the weapon disappearingDMR is broken when the first-person glitch is activated (Image via Epic Games/Fortnite)The first-person mode works like a charm when aiming down sight with an AR or Pistol. However, when using a DMR, the weapon disappears, and all that can be seen is the scope itself.4) User's character model becomes invisible after ADS-ing with the DMRCharacter model disappears from the screen after using the DMR (Image via Epic Games/Fortnite)After switching to another weapon or item, the character model will remain invisible for the duration of the match. Keep in mind that this will yield no in-game advantage, as opponents will still be able to see the player's character model. If anything, it just provides users with a false sense of security.Should you use First person mode glitch in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1?Nick Eh 30@NickEh30Fortnite in First Person!5740333Fortnite in First Person! https://t.co/KkZO5wQeYRYes, if you own Save The World, it's worth trying out this feature. Despite the first-person mode being "glitched," it is fun to use, at least for a match or two. Players will get to experience a fresh new perspective in-game.Now, for those waiting for the proper first-person mode in-game, Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 is just around the corner. This new feature should be rolled out in just over a month once the update v24.00 goes live on March 10/11, 2023.That being said, since this is a new feature, there is a slight possibility of bugs being present on the launch date. Nevertheless, Epic Games will doubtlessly quash them as soon as they are discovered.
