Regarding iconic POIs in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, Rave Cave and Lustrous Lagoon are at the top of the list. Although the latter has been consumed by Chrome, there's no denying that it's an unforgettable location.

With Chapter 4 coming up soon and the island getting a makeover, these illustrious POIs will very likely be vaulted. Before this occurs, Epic Games is coaxing players to visit them both one last time. Those who manage to search a chest in Lustrous Lagoon and Rave Cave will be rewarded with 20,000 experience points.

A step-by-step guide on how to search a chest in Lustrous Lagoon and Rave Cave in Fortnite

1) Land at Lustrous Lagoon, search a chest, and exit the POI from the west

To complete this challenge as quickly as possible (preferably during the early-game), players should land at Lustrous Lagoon without hesitation. Players who are unfamiliar with the location should mark it on their map prior to jumping off the Battle Bus.

Once in the POI, search a chest and secure some basic supplies. It's advisable that players max out their shields as well (only if possible). Once done, move towards the western side of the POI and exit through the crack in the crater.

2) Find a vehicle in Sunflower's Saplings or use the Balloon at Chrome Crossroads

From this point on, players will have two options to rotate the Rave Cave. They can either commandeer a vehicle from Sunflower's Saplings and follow the road west or take to the sky using a Balloon located at Chrome Crossroads.

Alternatively, players can use the vehicle to go to Floaties Boats (west of Chrome Crossroads) and use the Balloon located there. Given that Chrome Crossroads often sees some fighting during the early-game, it may be best to avoid it.

3) Move east towards Rave Cave and enter from the north entrance

Once in the air or in the safety of a vehicle, players shouldn't stop until they reach the foot of the mountain where Rave Cave is located. For those driving, they should make a hard right at the foot of the mountain and follow the road until it leads to a water outlet.

Using this waterway to enter the cave system is the safest option. For players flying towards the POI, they can attempt to land at the same water outlet to enter the cave system. If timed correctly, they should be able to glide into position effortlessly.

4) Enter the underground caves and search a chest

Once inside the Rave Cave, players will have no shortage of chests to choose from to search. That said, it's best not to dally and execute the task as soon as possible. After opening a chest, the challenge will be completed.

For those wanting to start the challenge at Rave Cave, they are welcome to do so. However, it has to be kept in mind that Lustrous Lagoon has a total of 41 chests, whereas Rave Cave has 54 within the vicinity.

If players are unable to reach Lustrous Lagoon swiftly, they may not find a chest to open. If this comes to pass, they'll have to restart the challenge and attempt it again in another match.
