Fortnite player builds entire OG map in Creative, here's how to play on it

The Fortnite OG map is something that many would love to play again. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear Epic Games plans to bring it back anytime soon.

This map brings a plethora of memories for veterans who used to play this game back when it was released. Due to this, it's been recreated in the Creative mode, and one can access it with a simple code.

This article will explain how you can play the Fortnite OG map in Chapter 4 Season 2.

The OG map was recreated by a player named NostalgiaFocus in the Creative mode. It features a 20-player battle royale match with classic loot and iconic locations from the first-ever map.

Furthermore, the map boasts classic graphics as well. Modern mechanics, such as sprinting, sliding, and hurdling, are disabled. For now, it can only be played in the solo mode, but its creator may add more modes in the future.

Here is how you can access the Fortnite OG map in Chapter 4 Season 2:

1) Enter the Creative code

To play the map, open the game mode selection menu and go to the Island Code tab. Here, you need to type 6087-3081-5772 and confirm.

You can play the map in both public and private matchmaking. If you choose private matchmaking, you will be able to explore the map without having to fight other players.


2) Wait for the match to start

The recreation of the Fortnite OG map also includes a classic pre-game lobby. This is where you can see all the other players that have been put in your lobby and prepare for the match.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to skip the timer and get into the match right away. Therefore, you must wait for the timer to hit zero before picking the landing spot.


3) Pick the landing spot and explore the map

At the moment, it is impossible to create a Battle Bus in the Creative mode. However, you will be able to manually pick your landing spot.

Here are five different options you can choose from:

  • Anarchy Acres
  • Retail Row
  • Dusty Depot
  • Fatal Fields
  • Pleasant Park

Once you pick your preferred landing spot, you will be teleported above the POI you selected. After this, you can land wherever you want and explore the OG map.
