Most Fortnite streamers stream the game because they want to showcase their skills to a broader audience. Streaming is a pretty straightforward profession, so people do it all for the same reason most of the time. However, some break from that mold. They might have completely different objectives or try to do something different for a particular stream. One such Fortnite streamer has been live for 113 days, which is absurd. Most streams last a few hours, maybe even close to a full day, but never as much as this. Here's why iGamer4tv has been playing the game live for such a long time. Why iGamer4tv has been streaming Fortnite for almost four monthsLike most streamers, iGamer4tv has a goal in mind. Unfortunately, it's so difficult to achieve that he's been forced to continue streaming for over 100 days.Jake Lucky@JakeSuckyLast month I covered this Fortnite streamer who can't stop streaming until he reaches 1,271 kills, but every 100 bits takes away 2 kills He's now been live for over 113 days 505785Last month I covered this Fortnite streamer who can't stop streaming until he reaches 1,271 kills, but every 100 bits takes away 2 kills He's now been live for over 113 days 😂 https://t.co/x1MZyb6CHsFortnite content creator Jake Lucky said:"Last month I covered this Fortnite streamer who can't stop streaming until he reaches 1,271 kills, but every 100 bits takes away 2 kills. That feat alone would take an incredible amount of time, but every 100 bits takes away two kills. It's a steep, uphill battle.Getting that many kills are hard enough. Most players would be lucky to get 10 eliminations in a match, and at that pace, it would take iGamer4tv 120 matches to get there. If these matches take 30 minutes or so, that will add up to a minimum of 60 hours. That doesn't count the detractions from the total, which is how iGamer4tv has made it over 100 days without reaching the total.Jake Lucky pointed out that iGamer4tv sleeps on stream, so this isn't an unhealthy mission. It's audacious, but it isn't dangerous per se.It's also pretty clever. This stream has generated a lot of traction. A Fortnite streamer who might not have gotten this much attention before now has many eyes peering. They've had those eyes for much of the past 113 days.Fan reactions to wild 113-day-long Fortnite streamThe community had much to say about this endeavor that iGamer4tv has undergone. One response said that doing something like this is absolutely insane.Brandon Sanchez@blsanch@JakeSucky This is actually insane dudes determined.7@JakeSucky This is actually insane 😂 dudes determined.Another remarked that this is getting everyone's attention, which only gives the streamer more money. It's a genius plan, but at least one viewer is on to it.RG | AngryWaffle@Ashen_rune12@JakeSucky Basically played everyone for money lol126@JakeSucky Basically played everyone for money lolAnother responded that this has to be a pretty lucrative stream.Stevie Estep@StevieEstep@JakeSucky Bros made like 70k in bits271@JakeSucky Bros made like 70k in bitsSometimes, streamers stay live for an absurd amount of time in a subathon. In this case, it's not specifically that, but it functions very similarly.Qubixo@Chook20041@JakeSucky Interesting take on a subathon, pretty cool3@JakeSucky Interesting take on a subathon, pretty coolOne response says this would work a lot better if streamers got more money from Twitch.Blakekantlehner@blakekantlehner@JakeSucky Would be a genious if that twitch creator split wasn’t so shot@JakeSucky Would be a genious if that twitch creator split wasn’t so shotNevertheless, this is an interesting endeavor to watch for a long time. Whether he ever makes it will be interesting to see.
