After completing a portion of the Oathbound challenges that pertain to the Rift Gate and Rift Warden Stellan in Fortnite Chapter 4, the final segment is all about AMIE. For those who are new to the game, AMIE was, and still is, trying to find a way to locate and rescue The Scientist who went missing in Chapter 3.

Considering that she's only present in the digital realm of the metaverse, she requires assistance to obtain a physical form in-game. To that end, she'll need some help and players must first make contact with her to do so. With that said, here's how to complete the Make Contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier challenge.

A step-by-step guide on where to make contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier in Fortnite

After completing the Refine the Alloy by hitting it with the Harvesting Tool challenge, players will be tasked with making contact with AMIE. There are three locations on the island where players can make contact with her: Crude Harbor, Lonely Labs, and Solitary Shrine.

Considering that all three of these locations are deep within the snow/ice biome, using a vehicle to get to them is the best option for such terrain. Alternatively, players may have to start a new match, depending on where they completed the previous segment of the Oathbound challenge that involved Rift Warden Stellan. With that said, here are the steps required to complete this challenge:

• Rotate in-game or start a new game and head towards the snow/ice biome
• Try to head towards Solitary Shrine (it's the safest location)
• Look for the Hologram Brazier and interact with it

After interacting with the Hologram Brazier, players will receive 20,000 experience points as a reward. At the same time, AMIE will appear and elaborate on her plans of needing to build a body to reach the other side of the RIft Gate to rescue The Scientist.

Why does AMIE want to rescue The Scientist in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

AMIE, or Artificial Machine Intelligence Engine, is an AI that was created by The Scientist and was introduced to the game back in Chapter 3 Season 3. Her task was to help him conduct research and speed things up in the storyline.

With AMIE being a sentient AI, based on the lore and the general assumption, she seems to have a weird attraction to her creator. Ever since The Scientist went missing in Chapter 3, AMIE has been hellbent on finding him.

Keeping this aside, The Scientist is a fairly vital character in the game's storyline. Widely considered to be the 'brain' of The Seven, finding him is of the utmost importance.

Although The Herald and Chrome may have been defeated, The Nothing and other threats such as Geno are still out there, somewhere in the darkness of the void. If the current reality in which Fortnite Chapter 4 is based has to go on, finding The Scientist is a great place to start.

In all probability, he will be found sometime during Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 or by the end of Season 1. That said, it all depends on what transpires in the fourth and final part of the Oathbound questline.
