1) Gather the materials required
You will need 1 Wood and 1 Blast Powder to craft a Trigger Plate. You can obtain the former by collecting it off the ground or by using an Axe to harvest the wood from trees.
Blast Powder can be collected by defeating the Skeleton Outlaw Slicer or Brawlers. These entities can be identified by their distinct cowboy hats and bandanas. These mobs always give you blast powder when defeated.
You can catch a Vendetta fish from pools or lakes and process it in the Food Processor. Processing a Vendetta Fish gives you five Blast Powder and five Fish Fillets.
2) Open the build menu and craft the Trigger Plate
Once you have collected the required ingredients, head to the Build menu and navigate to the Toys section. Now, select the Controls tab, scroll down to the Switches list, and select the Trigger Plate from the menu.
Remember, you can place the Trigger Plate in LEGO Fortnite only on Dynamic Foundations, Dynamic Boxes, and vehicles/Vehicle Bases. You cannot place these items on the ground or any structure. You can use a Trigger plate to build new vehicles or customize existing ones like the Offroad Flyer in LEGO Fortnite.
