Players can create giant snowballs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. They can hide in them and roll downhill or into opponents to deal massive damage. Snowballs protect players from incoming fire. They can also be used to remain inconspicuous in a heated battle.

For one of the festive challenges, players are required to pop out of a giant snowball and deal 250 damage to opponents to claim 16,000 experience points. While the task may seem rather complicated, it's easy enough to execute in a single match.

A step-by-step guide on how to pop out of a giant snowball and damage players within 10 seconds in Fortnite

1) Land at a hot-drop zone within the snow biome

The first step towards completing this challenge is landing at a hot-drop POI that sits within the snow biome. While Brutal Bastion would be the best location, newer players will not be able to deal with multiple opponents at once. For this reason, Lonely Labs is probably the best place to land.

Other locations include landmarks such as Icy Islets, Solitary Shrine, Crude Harbor, and Aegis Temple. Although these locations do see some early-game fighting, they're not as intense as the named locations on the map. Having said that, if there are too many opponents landing in the same location, it's best to look for a safer place.

2) Find basic loot and look for a good place to build a giant snowball

Once on the ground, the next step is to find a decent loadout. Since the challenge requires players to exit a giant snowball and damage opponents, this can be done at any range. With this being the case, players should try and find mid-range weapons such as a Red-Eye Assault Rifle or Scar.

After securing a decent loadout, one should look for a suitable place to build a giant snowball. The best option would be to build it on elevated ground that overlooks the nearest POI or landmark. To build a giant snowball, players will have to hit the ground 13 times.

3) After creating it, wait for opponents to appear nearby

Once it's created, don't jump in immediately, as it will start rolling. Instead, wait until an opponent is nearby or within firing range.

Depending on the weapon being used, players will have to plan their attack accordingly. While waiting, one can scout the area to look for opponents who may be fighting each other nearby.

4) Get into the giant snowball, pop out, and attack opponents within 10 seconds

Once ready, jump into the giant snowball, pop back out, and open fire on the enemy. If possible, go for headshots, as that will deal the most amount of damage in the shortest span of time. The goal is to incapacitate them before they get a chance to react.

Furthermore, remember not to push the giant snowball towards the enemy, as it may likely roll over and eliminate them. If this happens, players will have to set everything up all over again.

If this process is done correctly, players shouldn't need more than two attempts to complete the challenge and earn 16,000 XP.
