Fortnite Chapter 4 glitch allows players to get infinite loot, here's how

There are ways to get good loot in Fortnite. Opening chests can yield solid items. Supply drops are a safe bet as well, and vending machines offer Rare weapons most of the time. Recently, a new glitch has surfaced that allows players to get infinite loot, and the items it grants are pretty good.

For the bug to work, a teammate is needed. It can result in each member of the squad getting decent loot. Here's how to use the glitch.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 glitch for solid loot, explained

This glitch requires the use of augments, a brand new Chapter 4 mechanic that effectively grants perks to players every so often. Some of them are quite handy, and a few will work excellently with this loot exploit.

Every two and a half minutes, you are given the option to select one of two augments. You can re-roll them once for free and then for 100 gold bars, but they are truly random.

Some of these augments can be used to almost guarantee a high placement in the game. There are a few that grant weapons, which are important for this glitch. A Chug Gunner, Mechanical Archer, or Tactical Armory will work with this exploit.

Chug Gunner grants one Chug Cannon. Mechanical Archer offers an Explosive and a Shockwave Bow. Lastly, Tactical Armory provides one Rare Tactical AR and a Combat Shotgun.

When you use these augments, you'll immediately be granted the weapons. The augments should generally be used as soon as possible. To duplicate them in this glitch, you have to die. This should be done quickly. Subsequently, you need to be fully eliminated from the match and begin spectating your Fortnite partner or teammates.

The Reboot Card will be paramount to the glitch. A teammate needs to pick up the card and reboot you as soon as possible. Once you've respawned, the augment you used will activate and give you a gun.

However, your original weapon will also be lying on the ground where you died. Now, there will be two of the items the perk granted. This glitch can be repeated as many times as possible. It could be used to give every member of a Fortnite party the Chug Cannon. It may also be used to stock up on bows.

Completing this glitch a few times for each would grant a full loadout of really strong loot for all three Fortnite players. This glitch does take time, and it can be risky to die intentionally, especially when the teammate(s) doing the reboot can be killed at any moment.

Additionally, since this is an exploit, it won't last forever. Epic Games will likely patch this Fortnite glitch once they get wind of it, so it is best to try it out now while it works.
