Fortnite unvaults Heavy Sniper, P90 SMG, and 4 other fan-favorite weapons

The latest Fortnite Battle Royale update has brought several great additions to the video game. Epic Games released the v23.40 update on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, unvaulting several fan-favorite weapons, adding cosmetics, and introducing a new feature.

This is the fourth major update of Chapter 4 Season 1, and it has brought back several fan-favorite items. Furthermore, Epic has also added several new Reality Augments, which will make these weapons even more effective.

The Heavy Sniper is one of the most powerful weapons in the history of Fortnite Battle Royale. This bolt-action sniper rifle deals massive damage with both body and head shots and is very potent in the right hands.

What makes the sniper even more amazing is that it can one-shot structures, regardless of the materials used. Due to this, it's very effective in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

Epic Games has also brought the Hand Cannon (Desert Eagle) back to the game. It is the most powerful pistol available and is a perfect addition to the current season.

While the Hand Cannon is a slow-firing weapon and may not be everyone's cup of tea, Epic Games has also unvaulted Dual Pistols with the latest Fortnite update. This weapon comes in regular rarities, but its Hop Rock Exotic variant is also available in the game now.

Players who love fast-paced weapons will be delighted to hear that the P90 has also returned. This Fortnite submachine gun is lethal from close range, and there is no doubt that many players will use it.

Finally, the Boom Sniper Rifle is back as well. This Exotic weapon fires Clingers that explode and deal damage over a short radius. Due to this, players don't have to hit their targets directly to be effective with the weapon.

The v23.40 update has also brought along four new Reality Augments. These Augments will greatly improve the effectiveness of the unvaulted weapons and be very handy for players who know how to use them properly.

Here is what these new augments do:

• Snipers gain 1 extra ammo
• Last 2 bullets in Pistol magazine deal more damage
• Get 2 keys for Holo-Chests
• Get a random heisted exotic weapon

The first augment is perfect for sniper rifles, including the Boom Sniper Rifle, while Fortnite players who use pistols will greatly benefit from the second augment, which is called Last Shots.
