According to a recent Fortnite leak, dirt bikes could return in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. The upcoming season of Fortnite is entirely Marvel-themed and we could probably see a major nerf in cars. Car modifications and the Nitro system were part of the Chapter 5 Season 3 theme and most probably won't make it to the next season. Considering this, new mobility options besides cars would be required, and having dirt bikes return makes sense.

Dirt bikes could return in Chapter 5 Season 4 as per the Fortnite leak
As we approach the new season of Fortnite, numerous leaks regarding the Chapter 5 Season 4 content has surfaced on various social media platforms. This comes at a time when @HYPEX ha posted about the possible return of dirt bikes.
Dirt bikes are called Trail Thrashers in Fortnite and were introduced in the game at the beginning of Chapter 4 Season 1. They are two-seater vehicles that are fast, lightweight, and can jump over obstacles using the jump bind of your controls.
The Fortnite leak is further supported by the fact that the leaked Fortnite iOS release trailer also showcases the Trail Thrasher in the first few seconds of the clip. This trailer was uploaded by @SpushFNBR, another reliable and popular Fortnite news account on X.
As of now, there is no official confirmation on whether the Trail Thrasher would be available from the beginning of the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 4, or if it will be added as part of a major content update.

The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Absolute Doom will start on August 16, 2024. The official downtime of Chapter 5 Season 3 is on August 15, 2024, at 11 pm Eastern Time. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is about to end and many cosmetics might not be returning for a long time.
