The Single Take mode is one of the most intriguing camera features in the Samsung Galaxy Camera app. Essentially, this mode allows you to concentrate on the present rather than taking a tonne of pictures by capturing multiple images and videos simultaneously.

If you capture a moment using a single take, you can get different versions of the photo, 2-3 short videos, and gifs. Then, choose which to accept and discard from the generated media.

Swipe left on the available modes at the bottom of the Samsung Camera app, then tap More. Pick the Single Take option.

These days, phones with high-resolution cameras can take relatively large photos, creating a crunch in your memory. The majority of modern phones, including Samsung Galaxy phones, allow you to snap images in High-efficiency image format (HEIF) if you don't want to sacrifice image quality. Compared to JPG, this format takes much smaller-sized pictures, saving space. There won't be any discernible difference in the photo or video quality.

The only downside is that not all apps are compatible with this format.

  1. Select Advanced Picture Options from the Samsung Camera Settings menu.
  2. Turn on the High Efficiency Picture toggle.
  3. Similarly, activate High-efficiency videos under Advanced video options.

There are other features on the Samsung Galaxy phones as well, suited best for the environment and subject you are shooting. You should play with the settings to see what works best for you.
