Kings Cup the Event
2019 Kings Cup will be 47th edition of Kings cup organised Football Association of Thailand. It'll begin from 5th June till 8th June, two matches will be held on 5th June and the winners of those matches will directly qualify for the final of the 2019 Kings Cup. The other two teams would be playing a 3rd place play-off, all the games will be played in Buriram, Thailand.
As hosts, Thailand automatically qualified for the tournament; they are joined by the CONCACAF team Curaçao and the AFC teams Vietnam and India. The 2018 Kings cup champions Slovakia did not participate
For the Indian national team, It‘ll be the first real assignment for newly appointed head coach Igor Stimac, India will face the Kings Cup debutants Curaçao on 5th June. India will be participating in the Kings Cup for the second time, they finished 3rd in their last appearance in 1977.

Two matches will be played on 5th June in 2019 Kings Cup and the winners of these two matches will play the Kings Cup Final on 8th June and the other two teams will play a third place play-off on the same day. Curaçao won the 2019 Kings Cup.
