India will be facing South Korea in their last round-robin match at the Asian Women's Hockey Champions Trophy, which is taking place in Donghae City.

The Golden Girls of Hockey have been really impressive in the competition so far. Sjoerd Marijne has adjusted well with the girls and adapted to his responsibility as the coach rather well.

The defending champions have been remarkable this year as well. Out of the 3 games they have played thus far, they have won all three, two of them comprehensively. After the 4-1 thumping of Japan, in which Navneet Kaur scored a sublime hat-trick, India faced China. The Indian girls were dominant in this match as well, defeating China 3-1. Finally, they were pitted against Malaysia. This match was a thriller and the Indians had to work extremely hard for their 3-2 victory. Indian defense came to rescue in this match, as they absorbed one attack after another from the Malaysian side.

South Korea, on the other hand, have had a good run in the competition themselves. They won 3-1 against Malaysia, drew 1-1 with Japan, and finally won 3-1 against China. The hosts now stand strong at 7 points from the three matches.

Before coming into this match, it is already clear that India and South Korea will be playing the Final of the competition as well. This match is just to decide the first and second spot after the round-robin matches.

However, anything can happen in the bottom half of the table as China are yet to play against Japan. The result in this match will determine who will play the 3rd place playoff.
