Winning captain| Liam Livingstone: We were pretty much behind the game for the majority of it. Jamie Overton played beautifully. Fidel, in particular, was superb up front. The plays have been playing really well and it has been super fun. We were awaiting patiently to what the decision was for the final ball. It was nice to get a six

Overton: I was planning to take the match deep. We backed ourselves and did well to get the job done. We got over the line by a whisker. (On batting up the order). Not for now. I am pretty happy batting at number 6

WOW!! WOW!! Team Abu Dhabi have dragged victory from the jaws of defeat. The TV umpire adjudged the last delivery to be a maximum as Andre Russell seemed to have stepped on the rope.

Chasing 89 for victory, Team Abu Dhabi got off to a bad start as Paul Stirling fell for a duck off Wahab Riaz' bowling. Phil Salt didn't last for long too as Odean Smith had him caught at mid-off. As usual, the TAD skipper Liam Livingstone attacked from the word go but it proved to be one shot too many. After being dropped by Tom Moores, Wanindu Hasaranga got Livingstone on the second occasion when the Englishman mis-timed a big shot to long-on. The wily leg-spinner found himself on a hat-trick when he had Coin Ingram caught-behind.

He came back once again to get back-to-back wickets as Chris Benjamin and Marchant de Lange went back to the hut. While Benjamin was unlucky to be adjudged LBW, De Lange had no clue to Hasaranga's googly. Thereafter, the scoring rate came down with Team Abu Dhabi requiring 39 off 18 balls. Hamid Hassan came in and conceded only eight runs off the eighth over but the game changed when Andre Russell conceded 17 runs in the next over.

Requiring 14 runs off the last over, Hamid bowled decently for the first five balls and had Team Abu Dhabi requiring five off the last ball. However, he got injured and this resulted in Anwar Ali bowling the final ball. Danny Briggs top-edged his slog but the ball carried to the fine-leg fence where Andre Russell seemed to have pushed the ball inside successfully. However, the TV umpire saw the replays which indicated that Russell made contact with the boundary cushion and awarded six runs to Team Abu Dhabi.
