Leicester ends Demiral interest.

While the Premier League outfit had hoped to bring him in on a loan deal, the unexpected injury is set to keep him on the sidelines for the remaining part of the season, which shuts down any potential transfers in the meantime.

Jean-Clair Todibo hasn't gotten much game time at Camp Nou.

20-year-old Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo is set to join Bundesliga side Schalke on loan until the end of the season. While he remains highly rated, there have been very limited opportunities for the youngster to feature in the starting XI since he joined the Blaugrana a year ago.

Wolves wants Atletico Madrid star Thomas Lemar
Thomas Lemar

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has reportedly picked Thomas Lemar as a transfer target in a bid to strengthen the Wolves attack.

Lemar has been on the radar for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but his poor run of form at the Wanda Metropolitano will perhaps keep the Premier League heavyweights from chasing after the youngster.

Atletico Madrid will look to cut their losses and could offer Lemar on loan to Wolves, along with an option to make the move permanent for €40 million. Whether Wolves will make their move is yet to be seen.

Xavi rejects Barcelona offer
Xavi says no to Barca for the meantime.

The news has been rife with reports of Barcelona reaching out to club legend Xavi Hernandez in a bid to bring him back to Camp Nou as manager. While the current Al Sadd head coach did meet with Barca officials, he has reportedly rejected their offer, and his reasons were simple enough: He didn't want to be rushed into making a hasty decision, and he didn't want to make things uncomfortable for current Blaugrana manager Ernesto Valverde.

While the Barca officials have returned home without their legend, all hope is not lost. Both parties are reportedly keeping open communication channels that could see Xavi manage Barcelona when the season runs out.

Chicharito to meet LA Galaxy today
Javier Hernandez could move to LA Galaxy this January.

According to reports, Javier Hernandez would be meeting with LA Galaxy officials today to discuss a possible contractual agreement. It is believed that the 31-year-old Mexican star sees Galaxy as a viable destination, and it remains to see whether both parties will agree to terms.

Prying Chicharito away from Sevilla could have LA Galaxy part with approximately €10 million, but the American giants won't mind. Having let go of their star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, purchasing Chicharito could be a worthy replacement to lead the charge upfront.
