Manchester United on the verge of losing Tahith Chong to Inter Milan Manchester United could once again lose one of their promising youth talents to the Italian Serie A, just as they watched helplessly as Juventus made away with Paul Pogba many seasons ago.
According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, the Old Trafford outfit could lose Tahith Chong to Inter Milan this year, as the 19 year old's agent has reportedly met with officials from the Milan based club.
The starlet's contract expires at the end of the season, and he's eligible for a free transfer this summer. Juventus are also said to be interested in luring away the youngster.

Inter Milan table a ridiculously small transfer fee for Christian Eriksen According to Independent, Christian Eriksen's purported move to Italy this January window may have hit the rocks, with Inter Milan tabling a bid which sources at Tottenham Hotspur termed as 'derisory'.
The Italian club proposed a transfer fee in the region of £8-10 million, way off Spurs' valuation of the Danish midfielder. However, PSG are looking to hijack the mooted move to Italy, with the French champions willing to table the London club's reported £25 million valuation of the player.
The Danish maestro would however prefer to join Antonio Conte in Milan, with his game time likely to be limited at the Parc des Princes.
Thomas Muller hints at possible summer departure from Bayern Munich In an interview with Sport1, Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller hinted that he could possibly depart the club in the summer. In the interview, he stated:
“What will happen in the summer, I will talk to the club and consider my options. Then let’s see in which direction things will go.”
The 30-year-old has had a trophy laden sojourn at Bayern so far, and his contract is due to run out in 2021. However, his game time has been limited this campaign.

Ernesto Valverde pens an emotional farewell In a statement on the Barcelona website, former manager Ernesto Valverde bid goodbye to the club. The gaffer was dismissed yesterday after 2 and half years at the Catalan club. In the statement, he said:
"...I would like to thank the players for all their efforts that have allowed us to claim four trophies together. From this day, I wish them all the luck in the world and to the new coach Quique Setien also. All the best to everyone. Visca Barca and Visca Catalonia."

Barcelona insert mysterious clause into Quique Setien's contract According to ESPN's Moi Llorens, Barcelona inserted a fail-safe into new manager Quique Setien's contract, which would enable the Catalan club sever ties with the manager at the end of the current campaign.
The former Real Betis boss signed a contract with Barca till June 2022, however, the clause would enable the Catalan club continue their search for a new manager should the need arise. Barca legend Xavi Hernandez and Mauricio Pochettino were leading candidates before the appointment of Setien.

Key Ole Gunnar Solskjaer demand stalling Bruno Fernandes deal According to a report by BBC Sport, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has demanded that any player moving out of Manchester United this window has to be replaced.
This has presented a bit of an impasse in negotiations, as Sporting Lisbon are keen on having Man Utd leftback Marcus Rojo on loan. The Norwegian gaffer considers his squad too thin and would only entertain departures if replacements are secured.

Inter Milan and AS Roma propose a swap deal which could scupper Ashley Young's Inter move According to Sky in Italy, Inter Milan have turned their attention to AS Roma's Leonardo Spinazzola in their quest for a left fullback. The move was proposed due to Roma's desire to replace the injured Nicolo Zaniolo with Inter's winger Matteo Politano. Manchester United's captain Ashley Young who was reportedly keen on a move to Italy will no longer be needed by Antonio Conte's outfit if the move goes through.
