Barcelona enters the race for Bruno Fernandes

In a surprising twist to the Bruno Fernandes saga, Sky Sports understands that Barcelona have entered the race to sign the midfielder. 

The Portuguese international has been the subject of long winded negotiations between Manchester United and Sporting CP, however it seems Barca have entered the race, potentially throwing a spanner in the works of United. 

It's being reported that Barca intends to sign Fernandes and then loan him to Valencia till 2021 as a make-weight in their current negotiations for Los Che's striker Rodrigo.

Fernandinho pens a new contract with Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has finally persuaded Fernandinho to extend his stay with Manchester City. The Brazilian's contract was due to expire in the summer, but he has extended his stay till 2021.

Fernandinho has been an integral member of the City team this season, despite playing as a makeshift defender for much of the campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur finalise a permanent deal for Giovani Lo Celso

Following the departure of Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur have triggered their option to sign Giovani Lo Celso on a permanent basis this month. 

The deal is said to be worth £27 million. The North London club would have had to pay £34 million in the summer, and should have been obligated to buy him if they qualify for the Champions League. 

Lo Celso signed a deal which will see him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium till June 2025.

Christian Eriksen joins Inter Milan

Inter Milan have completed the signing of Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur. The deal is said to be worth £16.9 million, with the Italian club also to pay a sell on fee to Aiax. 

In a statement on Twitter, Spurs said:

“We can confirm the departure of Christian Eriksen who has today completed a transfer to Inter Milan. We wish you all the best for the future, @ChrisEriksen8”

Inter Milan continue their boisterous transfer activity with the pursuit of Chelsea's Olivier Giroud. According to Sky Italy, the Italians are close to a deal for the Frenchman. Sky's Dharmesh Sheth had this to say:
