GRADE FOR WWE NXT FOR JUNE 3RD, 2025: B-.
The match qualify wasn't on point for most of the night. The highlight was the arrival of Mariah May, who was clearly emotional ahead of cutting her promo. The debut was a squash match, and the promo parade for the women's division was a retread of past tropes. The job was to feature people competing at Worlds Collide, and that much was accomplished.

Santana gets to his feet first. He blasts Trick with some strikes and a cutter for a close call. He adds a Cannonball but Trick kicks out at two again. The challenger hits a 450 Splash, but Trick survives by grabbing the bottom rope. Santana winds up for a forearm but Trick rolls out of the ring. He grabs Elijah's guitar and breaks it on the steel steps. Elijah jumps out of the crowd and the ref focuses on him. First Class then come out of the crowd to attack Santana and slam him onto the announce table. Trick hits the Trickshot Knee to retain the title.
RESULT: TRICK WILLIAMS defeats Mike Santana by pin.

GRADE: B.
Some decent back-and-forth and both men brought it, but there was an air that a fishy ending was in store. That ending took shape when Trick forced Elijah to jump the barricade. First Class happened to intefere to protect Santana, but it was a cheap finish.

Williams traps Santana in a cravat hold. He chops Santana but it doesn't seem to faze Santana. Trick whiffs on another Trick Kick, and Santana hits a Superkick of his own. Santana catches Trick to hit a Death Valley Driver.

Williams has Santana trapped in a single-leg Boston Crab during the commercial break. He busts out of the move before leveling Trick with a few elbows. Trick stops more damage by dumping Santana head-first onto the buckle. He adds a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Santana kicks out and Trick isn't happy.

Santana dumps Trick on his face and knees. The crowd decides to root for Santana at this point. The popular New Yorker sends Trick from the ring. He hits Trick with a Suicide Dive as Trick walks around nonchalantly on the outside.

The crowd cheers for both men in the TNA World Championship match, proving Jacy Jayne correct.

Which Kaiju will walk out with the NXT title next week?

Elijah, fka WWE's Elias, is in the crowd since he'll face the winner of this match for the title at TNA's next PPV.

We pivot to Tony D and Luca Crusafino arguing about how the Family isn't so much a family anymore. Jasper Troy vs. Oba Femi for the NXT Championship is announced, as is the North American title match between Sean Legacy and the winner at Worlds Collide.

Oba Femi is waiting for Ava to sign a contract. Mr. Stone and Stevie Turner are with him until Jasper Troy walks in. They both step up to the other. We then pivot to Zaria and Sol Ruca walking around before seeing Tatum Paxley wallowing in her recent losses. They say they'll be there for Tatum until Izzi Dame comes over. She tells Tatum that she cannot trust Zaria or Sol and that she purges people who are trustworthy.

Baylor tries to climb to the top, but Lee chops his chest and stomps him from above. He hits his finisher on Baylor for the win.
RESULT: DRAGON LEE, JE'VON EVANS, SEAN LEGACY, and LAREDO KID defeat Ricky Smokes, Brad Baylor, Jackson Drake, and Ethan Page by pin.

GRADE: B+.
This was one of those matches where there was A LOT going on to follow. The high-flying spots hit for the most part, and Drake and Legacy stood out for their teams for fans who may be unfamiliar with them. The right person got pinned since all the faces have big matches this weekend, as does Ethan Page.

Legacy and Baylor are the legal men for their team. They hit a series of moves, highlighted by a pull-up powerslam by Page, on him, but the pin is broken up. Evans and Laredo hit high-flying moves to the outside, leaving Page and Legacy in the ring. They trade punches and a kick until Baylor and Dragon Lee come in.

Evans makes the tag to Dragon Lee. Ricky Sockes tags in for the baby men and Page's team. Lee hits a shotgun dropkick in the corner. He goes for more offense, but Baylor stops him. Laredo Kid goes for a Suicide Dive but totally whiffs. Lee hits a powerbomb on Smokes, but Page breaks up the pin.

Je'Von and Jackson Drake battle it out, with Drake hitting a standing Shooting Star Press for a two count.

Ricky Smokes and Evans come in for their teams. Legacy hits a blind tag and a few kicks on Smokes. He hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Legacy sends Brad Baylor and Smokes to the outside. He hits a Suicide Dive. Evans and Lee hits Tope Con Giros while Page blasts Laredo Kid with a kick when he goes for the same.

The eight-man tag match is up next as the baby men of the Vanity Project team with Ethan Page against Sean Legacy, Dragon Lee, Laredo Kid, and Je'Von Evans. Jackson Drake eats a lot of offense from the heroic Luchardores. Lee hits a crossbody off the top for a near fall.

Stevie Turner is backstage with the Evolve women's division. She says this is where they come next after conquering Evolve.

Vic updates everyone about how injured Ricky Saints got an injured larynx. Ethan Page and the Vanity Project mock their opponents, and it doesn't take long for All Ego to tire of the baby men.

Mariah has a bit of trouble not bursting into tears of joy, as it's been a lifelong dream of hers to wrestle for WWE. She says they can call her the next NXT Women's Champion.

As everyone brawls, the lights go out and Mariah May appears in the pulpit!!!

She says she thought she knew a lot about wrestling. Jaida Parker is next in the promo parade. She says Grace had her chance, and it's time to move, even though Jaida challenged for the title at Stand & Deliver. Kelani Jordan and Lash Legend are out next to yell and whine. Thea Hail blindsides Parker, returning her cowardly attacks over the last two weeks.

The crowd boos her and she tells them to shut up and respect the champion. Jacy mentions that she and Fallon started in the business together, and it was time to run the play. Some random person from the crowd, Lainey Reed, says she's the most beatable champ. Lola Vice cuts her off, and Jordynne Grace follows suit.

She calls them the most fickle group of wrestling fans, and she's right. Jacy loved seeing the shocked looks on their faces.

Get ready for "You Deserve it" chants from the fickle crowd. She cuts them off since they haven't rooted for her over the last four years.

Up next is new NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence!! Who will interrupt them???

Sarah Schreiber interviews Mike Santana ahead of his title match with Trick Williams tonight. He says Trick is only fighting for himself, but he's fighting for the legacy of TNA and everyone who stepped into a TNA ring.

Grace slaps Steele, but she shrugs it off. Steele tosses Grace off her shoulders before hitting a deadlift German Suplex with a bridge for the quick win.
RESULT: TYRA MAE STEELE defeats Arianna Grace by pin.

GRADE: C+.
Too quick for much of an impact. Grace played the overconfident heel well. Steele utilized typical amateur wrestling moves, but the finisher was a strange choice.

Grace refuses a handshake from Steele. Steele trips Grace and rolls her around. Grace gets in the ref's face. Arianna fights back with some strikes in the corner. She lands a big boot to drop Steele.

Up next is the official debut of LFG winner Tyra Mae Steele. She puts a gold medal around a fan's stuffed animal. She'll face Arianna Grace in what seems like Grace's first match in NXT in years.

Izzi Dame is running things in the Culling now!

Myles Borne is now free of the NQCC after besting Charlie Dempsey.

Borne extends his hand as a sign of sportsmanship, but Dempsey refuses to shake it. Backstage, we see the Culling getting ready for a tag team match, but Izzi Dame blasts Brooks Jensen with a chair. Shawn Spears and Niko Vance are shocked, but she says he wasn't fully committed to the group and its vision. She got the match moved to next week with Spears and Vance teaming. They agree.

Dempsey rushes Borne off the bell for Round 4. He targets Borne's ribs. Borne fights back with a back bodydrop and some strikes. He adds a belly-to-back suplex and an Angle Slam for two. Dempsey targets the ribs again, but Borne reverses into a pinning combo. They trade a few more pins and counters until Borne hits Dempsey with a dropkick to win 2 Rounds to 1 Round.
RESULT: MYLES BORNE defeats Charlie Dempsey by pin, 2 Rounds to 1 Round.

GRADE: B.
It started out slow but built up as things went on. Borne winning was the right call as he grows in popularity. Some great counters and pin attempts.

Dempsey hits a "Regal Suplex" with a bridge to even the odds at 1-1.

The second round takes place mostly during the commercials, and that's fine because nothing happens. Dempsey knees Bourne in the gut after the bell, upsetting Wren and Tavion.

The stablemates trade counters until Dempsey pulls a jumping armbar to bring the action to the mat. Borne stands up to counter out, but Dempsey pulls out a Sunset Flip for two. They trade a few more pin attempts until Borne pins Dempsey with six seconds left.

Myles Borne and Charlie Dempsey do battle in a Rounds Match, and if Borne wins, he can leave the No Quarter Catch Crew. Wren Sinclair corners Dempsey while Tavion Heights does the same for Borne.

Back in the locker room, Tyra Mae Steele is happy but nervous about disappointing the Undertaker in her NXT debut. Arianna Grace comes in off her stint in TNA to say that no one likes a braggart, which is totally not something Grace or an Olympic Gold Medalist would do.

Peter Griffin's cousin hits two guys with one suplex ....

Ava books an eight-man tag match pitting the Vanity Project and Ethan Page against Sean Legacy, Je'Von Evans, Laredo Kid, and Dragon Lee, who volunteers to be their partner.

Vic argues that Booker has to find someone new to love in NXT since Stephanie Vaquer moved to RAW. He's been a fan of Jacy Jayne for her entire career, showing Vic's lack of historical knowledge. Chase U teams up to take brief control, but they whiff when trying to suplex Osiris Griffin. He suplexes both men at the same time. They line up for the three-man powerbomb for the win.
RESULT: DARKSTATE (CUTLER JAMES, DION LENNOX, AND OSIRIS GRIFFIN) defeat Chase U (Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, Uriah Connors) by pin.

GRADE: C.
Nothing special about the match. It was all about Chase U being in over its head and DarkState taking advantage. Kale and Uriah had flashes, but not enough to stand out.

Connors slaps Dion Lennox back in defense, but it only upsets Lennox. He takes him down and then locks in a Boston Crab. Uriah makes the tag to Kale Dixon. He hits a flurry of offense on Lennox.
