Will Leon Ruff be able to retain his North American Title?
Updated: 19 November 2020 09:00 IST - Published: 19 November 2020 07:51 IST
...
Well... that was a heck of a show, with a killer main event. I hope you all dug it as much as I did.

In the meantime, we'll have the full results posted here in a little bit. Enjoy SmackDown and Survivor Series coming up. Have a great night. I'm outta here.
...
And now for your match results:

Io Shirai defeated Rhea Ripley
Timothy Thatcher defeated August Grey
Toni Storm and Ember Moon defeated Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez
Kushida defeated Arturo Ruas
Candice Larae and Indi Heartwell defeated Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter
Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes fought to a No Contest
Johnny Gargano defeated NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff by DQ
...
"It's easy for the mice to play when the cat's away, but now the cat is back... and look like he dragged in"

Balor brought the Undisputed ERA with him and it's ON! I sense War Games.

WHEN IS REGAL GOING TO GET TO SAY THAT?!
...
Basically, the Kings of NXT want Finn to hand them the championship or else they're gonna beat him up.
...
The two shake hands (SOCIAL DISTANCING, COME ON!) and hug as they return to the back.

Finn hits the ring to make his announcement but gets interrupted by Pat McAfee and his nerd herd.
...
Rhea barely makes it back into the ring before the ten count - right after getting sunset flip powerbombed through the announce table.

But, before Rhea can get to her feet, Io nails her with the moonsault and gets the win.

RESULT: Io Shirai defeats Rhea Ripley
...
Rhea and Io have been pounding away at each other as intensely as we expected. Ripley seems to have cut herself open at her left ear piercing.

Shirai has been savagely attacking Ripley's arm  the entire match, to the point she can barely move it
...
Rhea Ripley finally gets her rematch for the NXT Women's Championship Io Shirai for, you know, that title.
...
...
"Thanks to the hot new metal band... Black Sabbath... for providing the theme to WAR GAMES!"
...
...
Wade Barrett will be too busy Wade Barretting to fulfill his normal NXT commentator duties, but he has convinced Kevin Owens to handle it for him because he's got that kind of swing around here, I guess.
...
...
...
Leon Ruff charges the ring and attack Gargano, accidentally hitting Priest in the process. Soon, both Priest and Gargano are staring down the current North American Champion, who wisely skeedaddles out of there.
...
Damien Priest makes his way to the ring and apparently, he was the only person in the Capitol Wrestling Center or watching on TV that wasn't expecting Johnny Gargano to attack him.
...
I love it when Ciampa just cuts straight to the point promos

"I thought I made it perfectly clear. I. Want to fight. Thatcher."
...
...
Thatcher had originally yelled "don't pick a fight with a guy you can't beat!" at Grey.

Ciampa comes out and stares him down.

Thatcher yells "I don't have a problem with you!" and scrambles out of the ring - apparently not wanting to pick a fight with him.
...
...
Thatcher decides to punish Grey further, but is interrupted by Tomasso Ciampa.
...
Thatcher with a front-face guillitine hold and Tim gets the win.

RESULT: Timothy Thatcher defeats August Grey
...
Grey starts this match off raring to go and get revenge on his former instructor, but this match devolves into Thatcher tearing Grey up sadistically and Grey trying his damndest to get away.
...
Anthony Greene IS August Grey IN this match against Timothy Thatcher.
...
...
...
Meanwhile, in the parking lot, Pat McAfee pulls up into his OJ Simpsonmobile with the rest of his goof troop, as they're very interested in hearing what NXT Champion Finn Balor has to say tonight.
...
As Moon and Storm back away from the ring (never back away from the ring unless you want to get attacked from behind), they are *gasp* attacked from behind by Candice Larae and Indi Heartwell!
...
With Moon and Gonzalez on the floor, Storm rolls Kai up and gets the pinfall.

RESULT: Toni Storm and Ember Moon defeat Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.
...
Moon in the ring with Raquel, leaps off the second rope and nails her with a Codebreaker. She apparently has some issues with getting Gonzalez on her back for the pin, but once she does, Kai yanks her out of the ring by the leg.
...
So, what happened during the ad break. Let's ask Wade Barrett

"During the entire commercial break, Toni Storm took an absolute whooping out here..."
...
Ember Moon - with her outfit that is both stylish and demonstrates the benefits of recycling - and Toni Stormses will now be taking on the team of Dakota "I like baseball jerseys" Kai and Raquel "My last name has two Zs in it" Gonzalez.
...
...
I know there wasn't much coverage of that match. It was really quick and really hard hitting. Just a really good, short match.
...
Kushida flips Ruas over and bridges back and gets the pin!

RESULT: Kushida defeats Arturo Ruas
...
I don't know who this Arturo Ruas is, but, if you told me it was Sasha Baron Cohen pretending to be a wrestler, I wouldn't immediately not believe you.
...
Arturo Ruas vs.... Kushida?! Holy CRAP.
...
...
Well, as I'm trying to get all caught up, Candice Larae and Indi Heartwell teamed up to defeat Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter fairly quickly.

RESULT: That thing I just typed.
...
...
...
Following the break, we get a video package for next month's War Games show. Shotzi Blackheart is rebuilding her tank and building herself a team. It seems it'll be Team Blackheart vs Team Candice Larae? WE SHALL SEE
...
...
Meanwhile, backstage, William Regal is arguing with Damien Priest regarding his involvement in the North American Championship match. Priest tries to explain that he got carried away and was just "joking around."

Ruff overhears this and accused Priest of, much like Gargano was, calling him a "joke." Leon seems to accept his weak-ass apology, then slaps Priest in the face.

"Serves you right," Regal tells him. Typical Regal perfection.
...
The blindfolds are off and so are gloves (not literally, it's just an expression) as Lumis and Grimes fight all over the arena floor.

Eventually, Grimes has had enough and climbs over the fence surrounding the ring and hightails it out of there. Lumis does his creepy eye stare and... I guess that's a No Contest?

We'll go with that.

RESULT: No Contest.
