Thanks for joining us, folks. Happy New Year, we'll see you next week.

Owens is tossed from up high, crashing into two tables below. The first SmackDown of 2021 ends with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso looking down on a broken Kevin Owens.
...
...
Owens takes off Uso's handcuffs and tries to drag him to Roman. Jey attempts to fight him off, but is run down by Owens. A superkick leaves him out on two tables near the ThunderDome screens. He looks at the camera again, and says one final time "This is your fault."

Before he could dive onto Jey, Roman Reigns makes the save. Owens can't fight off a two-on-one, not this one at least. They dismantle him, battering him with a pair of steel chairs.
...
...
...
Back from the break, Kevin Owens quickly puts away Uso with a superkick and a stunner.

Kevin Owens defeats Jey Uso via pinfall.

Owens drops Jey with another stunner and demands Roman to come to the ring. He heads to commentary, taking Corey Graves' headset off and calling Reigns out again. He handcuffs Jey to the top rope before superkicking him again.
...
Jey Uso hasn't been able to get out the gates. Kevin Owens is sending a message here. He bounces Jey Uso on the apron and canvas and tears him apart limb from limb. Owens says that the worst part is this isn't even Jey's fault, it's Roman's.
...
Kevin Owens and Jey Uso tossed wrasslin out the window, going straight to punches and kicks. This is less of a match and more of a slugfest.
...
It's time for the main event, and it's going to be a war.

Cesaro avoids the splash, and Nakamura tags n for the Kinshasa. Otis counters, hitting a flapjack. Otis makes it to Bryan, who goes up top for a diving sunset flip. 1-2-Nakamura kicks out. Bryan fires up but is rocked with a side thrust kick to the jaw. Nakamura attempts a cross arm breaker, only to be broken up by a diving headbutt from Otis.

Cesaro and Nakamura send Otis to the floor. A Knee Plus does the same to Cesaro, and Bryan locks Nakamura in the Yes Lock.

Daniel Bryan and Otis defeat Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.

The Alpha Acadamy, Bryan included, hit the Three Amigos dance as they celebrate. If you haven't seen it, folks...well...it's a pretty old movie.
...
Otis tags in and decleats Cesaro with the Brodie Clothesline. A big splash in the corner sets up for the Caterpillar. Otis hits it, but Nakamura breaks up the pin.
...
Back from the break, Cesaro gets a near fall on Bryan. The Artists Collective tag in and out, hammering Bryan with stiff knees and uppercuts.
...
...
Daniel Bryan and Cesaro start off with some great mat wrestling, but the Swiss Superman is able to take him to his corner to tag in Nakamura. The King of Strong Style is taken overhead repeatedly by Bryan and is able to tag out.

Bryan attempts a suicide dive, but Cesaro catches him, popping him up for a European uppercut.
...
Daniel Bryan, Chad Gable, and Otis are out next. Bryan and Otis are set to face off in a tag team match against Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
...
Dolph and Roode, dubbing themselves "Dirty Dogs" demand a SmackDown Tag Title match. They won't stop what they're doing until they get that opportunity.
...
Montez Ford predicts that Dolph Ziggler will receive the new nickname "The Heartache Kid." Before they can get to Ziggler's tag partner, Robert Roode blindsides Dawkins. He and Roode layout the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Dawkins takes a chair to the back while Roode attempts to injure Ford's leg. Holding it against the steel steps and ring post, Ziggler smashes it with a chair.
...
It's time for the Street Profits 2021 Predictions. With a drum set in the ring, Angelo Dawkins plays Montez Ford into each topic.
...
The Street Profits are in the ring for a celebration, but before we start we see that Sonya Deville is back! Deville has returned! What does that mean for the SmackDown Women's Division?
...
...
The main event between KO and Jey Uso is made official. Roman Reigns, furious, believes that somebody in WWE doesn't appreciate him despite all he's done for the company. He tells Paul Heyman to get him a name. I've got a bad feeling about Adam Pearce.

Left in the corner, Mella takes the slingshot knees and a running dropkick setting up a running knee. Bayley breaks up the pinfall, and Bianca tosses her to the floor.

Bianca tosses her hair to Banks like a lifeline, but Bayley pulls her to the floor. Bianca takes care of Bayley, and Banks catches Carmella with the Bank Statement. Reginald pulls Carmella through the ropes and distracts Banks.

It's not enough, though, and a thrust knee nearly knocks Carmella out cold. However, Reginald distracts her once again, allowing Carmella to plant Banks with a float-over X-Factor.

Carmella and Bayley defeat Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair via pinfall.
...
Bianca rolls Carmella up and gets a side kick to the gut for her trouble. Mella goes for an armbar, but Belair lifts her with one arm for an attempted slam. Carmella escapes, only to face a freshly tagged Banks.
...
Back from the break, Bayley and Carmella have everything under control, punishing Bianca Belair.
...
Belair is on fire, taking on Carmella and a freshly tagged Bayley. On the floor, Bianca assists Banks with a leaping hurricanrana to Bayley, who is rolled back inside for a two-count.
...
It's another tag team match up next, with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair taking on Carmella and Bayley. The Est. of WWE kicks things off with Mella.

The Riott Squad is in action again, and Billie Kay is here...as the manager for their opponents, Tamina and Natalya! Though Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott take Nattie down with a double dropkick, Tamina nearly turns Riott inside out with a clothesline.

Liv tags in, and fires up on Tamina. Riott tags back in, and the Riott Squad it a double STO for a two-count. Momentarily, Billie Kay changes sides, cheering for Ruby and Liv.

Liv rolls up Tamina for a win, and Billie Kay celebrates with them...though they have no idea why.

Riott Squad defeat Tamina and Natalya via pinfall.

Kayla Braxton asks Big E what to expect from the new IC Champion. Apollo jokingly touches the gold, with Big E saying "Ah, don't touch." Still, Big E plans on being a fighting champion and Apollo Crews will be getting a shot next week. Crews accepts an open challenge the second E announces it, stating that he's the reason E won it in the first place. What will happen when Crews isn't on his side?
