"This has to have taken 100s of hours": Minecraft player creates creepy Pokemon-inspired mega build 

Minecraft has always seen players develop some of the most unique builds and ideas using the array of resources available. While some have focused on more elaborate builds, others have created mega-builds in survival mode to up the ante. The wide array of machinery and redstone-based devices allow for near-limitless possibilities of construction.

Minecraft player u/sushi-btw created a mega-build that was heavily inspired by characters and ideas from the Pokemon universe. These typically are extremely large builds that take a long time to plan and put together. The OP posted pictures of his build that have left the gaming community stunned:

Reacting to this post, u/Least-Office8717 was sure that this highly detailed build must have taken a lot of days to make, to which the OP replied that it took 7000 in-game days:

u/Aistan83 took the opportunity to make a hilarious pun on the build, referring to the major theme and motif of the Pokemon called Unown (which resembles the human eye) in the mega build:

u/EqualCourt2659 was shocked that such a highly detailed and complicated mega-build only took months to make in survival mode. The OP replied that it might have been longer since it took a significant amount of time to gather resources as well:

Many Redditors sang praises for the OP for his faithful and creative representation of the Unown, a psychic-type Pokemon with a mysterious power. The unique eye-shaped design paired with the creepy vibe of the mega-build made a Redditor want to sign up as a cultist for the in-game establishment:

On the other hand, a few Redditors could not believe that the entire build was made from scratch and that it was in survival mode. They thought the intricate walls were edited rather than painstakingly made. One Redditor even made a joke and asked the OP if they were okay after this insane build:

Most players and Redditors were stunned by the hard work and dedication of the OP in creating this mega-build. The fact that it was created in survival mode where hostile mobs and other difficulties keep pestering players makes this even more of a statement.
