Jon Jones is in preparation to make his long-awaited return, and despite being in the G.O.A.T. conversation, he has a challenging task on his hands against Ciryl Gane, but Henry Cejudo believes the Hall-of-Famer will finish his opponent.

'Bon Gamin' has been a sensation in the heavyweight division and has proven time and time again that he's the real deal. He bulldozed his way into title contention just three years into his UFC career. With his unique style, the Frenchman has beaten a handful of the best active fighters in the weight class.

While discussing the matchup on his YouTube channel, Henry Cejudo exuded confidence when claiming Jones would not only walk away with his hands raised, but also become the first man to ever finish Gane inside the cage.

"I do believe in my wholehearted heart that Jon Jones is not only gonna beat Ciryl Gane, but he's gonna either submit him, or he's gonna stop him. I don't think this fight goes past three rounds."

'Triple C' continued and insisted that regardless of Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski's claims, Jones would be the rightful #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world should he find a finish in his heavyweight debut.

A finish over Ciryl Gane would undoubtedly be a huge feat for the former light heavyweight champion. But if his most recent performances are taken into consideration, winning by knockout or submission seems rather unlikely.

Check out what Henry Cejudo had to say regarding how good Jon Jones will look in his new weight class in the video below.

On the Jones vs. Gane undercard, Geoff Neal will get to settle his differences with Shavkat Rakhmonov. Cody Garbrandt returns to the bantamweight division, and Bo Nickal will finally make his anticipated UFC debut. The event is set to get underway at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 4.
