Dana White and his wife Anne White were vacationing in Cabo to ring in the new year. Things got sour when the pair got into a physical altercation and had to be separated by onlookers.

A video surfaced today showing the married couple slapping each other at a party while heavily intoxicated.

The UFC president addressed the matter on TMZ, taking responsibility for the situation and apologizing:

"You've heard me say for years, there's never, ever, an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman, and now here I am on TMZ talking about it... This is one of those situations that's horrible. I'm embarrassed... People are going to have opinions on this, and most of the people's opinions will be right, especially in my case. You don't put your hands on a woman, ever."

White added that both of them have also spoken to their children to address any concerns they might have.

MMA social media appeared divided on the matter. While one half blasted Dana White for his actions, some attempted to justify it.

Anne White was quick to shut down both parties by releasing a statement to TMZ, stating that it was a one-off incident and uncharacteristic behavior from White. She insisted that they have settled things and both apologized to one another.
