Andrew Tate has often spoken about the crucial role that his parents played in his life journey, right from childhood to adulthood. 'Top G' has time and again praised his father, the late American chess player Emory Tate, for inculcating masculine qualities in him.

Additionally, the masculinity coach and former kickboxer has also lauded his mother, UK native Eileen Tate. He's consistently credited her for raising him well, while his chess international master father was away from home for professional and personal reasons.

Speaking to Patrick Bet-David on The PBD Podcast in 2022, Andrew Tate shed light upon how his parents played a huge role in shaping his views on gender dynamics. Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist, asserted that his mother was always subservient to his father.

Many a time, Andrew Tate has himself opined that a woman shouldn't argue with a man and that she belongs to the man she's in a relationship with. He's also of the belief that in a relationship, a man has the right to demand obedience from his woman. On The PBD Podcast, 'Top G' added that his father was a "disciplinarian" and a "super-principled man." Tate stated:

"Yeah, so my mother was fantastic. She was an amazing mother. I don't like to talk about positive and negatives. My mother was very much subservient to my father, which was a good thing. They used to have arguments, etc. And I think I learned a lot of my lessons, I guess, on male-female dynamics, to a degree, from my childhood."

The British-American influencer explained that his mother and father had clearly-defined gender roles. 'Top G' pointed out that his mother was tasked with feeding and educating him and his younger siblings. He highlighted that his father was away from home most of the time but taught him how to "be a man" and "conquer the world."

Furthermore, Andrew Tate recalled an incident when his mother purportedly found a few phone numbers in his father's pocket after the latter returned home following a lengthy chess tour. Tate said:

"[They] start arguing. He just walked in the house. [They] start arguing. He came down to me and said, 'Son, give me a hug.' I gave him a hug. He goes, 'Alright. See you in a few weeks.' I said, 'Where are you going?' He goes, 'When you're older, you'll understand. Mother won't shut up.'" Tate smilingly continued, "Walked out the door. I didn't see him for two weeks. This is who he was."

Andrew Tate foresees a "zero percent" chance of conviction after being shifted from jail to house arrest

Andrew Tate's parents divorced when he was young, following which, his mother took him and his siblings from the US to the UK. His father Emory Tate was in the US military and later earned a living as a chess player. Meanwhile, his mother Eileen Tate worked as a dinner lady in England, earning $400 a month.

In the aforesaid podcast conversation with Patrick Bet-David, 'Top G' emphasized that once he got rich, he made his mother retire from her dinner lady job. It's believed that Tate provides for his mother to this day. On the other hand, his father passed away from a heart attack in 2015.

Andrew Tate, his younger brother Tristan Tate, and their business associates were arrested in December 2022 in Romania. They've been accused of human trafficking, forming a criminal group, rape, and other crimes. Their pre-trial detention was extended multiple times in the ensuing months. That said, the Bucharest Court of Appeal ended their pre-trial detention on March 31st, 2023.

In accordance with the court's judgment, the Tate brothers were shifted from jail to house arrest, which is expected to be effective till April 29th, 2023. On that note, Andrew Tate subsequently addressed the media and insinuated that he, his brother, and their business associates are innocent. Tate noted:

"[I thank the judges] who heard us today because they were very attentive, and they listened to us, and they let us free... I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or for anybody else, I just believe in the truth ... I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is zero percent chance of me being convicted for something I've not done."
