While Brock Lesnar is primarily known for his WWE career, he also had a short but stellar UFC career. Having made his MMA debut in 2007, Lesnar fought a total of nine times in almost a decade-long career. His UFC record stands at 4-3-1.

Given his stardom, most of Lesnar's fights were unsurprisingly under the biggest MMA promotion in the world, where he also went on to become a heavyweight champion. The former UFC champ last fought in 2016, returning after a hiatus of nearly five years to take on Mark Hunt.

Lesnar emphatically outwrestled Hunt en route to a unanimous decision win in the co-main event at UFC 200. However, the result was later overturned to a no-contest after the WWE superstar failed both an out-of-competition and a night-of-fight drug test.

Lesnar tested positive for a pair of anti-estrogen drugs called clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene. The former UFC champ was slapped with a one-year suspension retroactive to the date of his fight against Mark Hunt. He was also fined $250,000, i.e., 10% of his $2.5 million disclosed purse that he received for the fight.

Hunt subsequently filed a lawsuit against the UFC, accusing the promotion of being aware of Lesnar's PED use.

Brock Lesnar believes he deserved to be paid more by the UFC

Brock Lesnar is one of the highest-paid fighters in UFC history, his UFC 200 clash against Mark Hunt being his biggest payday. UFC President Dana White even set Lesnar's deal as a benchmark while talking about the recent deal that was turned down by Francis Ngannou.

While Lesnar also accepts that he earned a lot from the UFC, the WWE superstar believes he probably deserved more. The former heavyweight champ told Pat McAfee in a previous interview:

“Dana’s alright. I’ve got a lot of money from him. I probably should have got paid more, maybe.”

Lesnar has previously made it clear that he has no plans of making a UFC return and now solely identifies as a WWE superstar. 'The Beast Incarnate' made an epic return on RAW this week, stirring up a feud with Bobby Lashley.
