In the main event of ONE Fight Night on Prime Video 6, ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix champion Chingiz Allazov will face Superbon Singha Mawynn for the division's top prize.

This is, by and large, Allazov's most high-profile bout to date. Superbon is one of, if not the most, talented and dangerous kickboxers alive today.

Despite him not looking past world champion Superbon, Allazov has an eye out for one other particular fighter: Marat Grigorian.

'Chinga' was supposed to face Grigorian in the semifinals of the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. The bout, however, was canceled due to Grigorian testing positive of COVID-19.

Allazov instead faced Jo Nattawut and knocked him out in the first round at ONE: Only the Brave. A few months later, he beat Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the World Grand Prix finals at ONE X.

On the same night, Grigorian, fully recovered, faced Superbon for the belt but lost via unanimous decision.

On the possibility of facing Grigorian in the future, Chingiz Allazov told ONE:

"I like to fight with [Marat] Grigorian. A lot of people are waiting for this fight. This is a good fight. I saw his fight with Superbon, so against Grigorian it will be the same. He's not ready to fight with me. In my fight with Sitthichai, I had power over him. I'm more clever than him but he doesn't have a good game plan. He goes only forward and KO. For this weight, at this level, you can't do this."

Allazov continued:

"People say, maybe if I win this fight, I will fight whoever wins between Sitthichai and Grigorian, no problem. But now I only focus on Superbon. This is really the best fight."

Chingiz Allazov believes Superbon will avoid trading punches with him

In the weeks leading up to his world title bout, Chingiz Allazov has been outwardly critical of his opponent, ONE featherweight kickboxing world champ Superbon Singha Mawynn.

'Chinga' has pointed out that the world champ apparently doesn't like engaging in fistic battles with his opponents, mostly favoring kicks. Allazov told ONE Championship:

"He [Superbon] doesn’t like punching. He doesn’t like real fights, you know? He has this clever game plan. He has kicks, kicks, kicks, and after that, maybe he would like the fight. Maybe you should talk to him. Chingiz said Superbon doesn’t fight. He doesn’t like a boxing fight. He doesn’t like a power fight."

One can make the assessment that while Superbon is one of the best and most talented "kickers" in the sport today, Chingiz Allazov might be the most lethal puncher. Just look at how he decimated both Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut with a single punches.

This interesting contrast of weapons will surely make this world title bout an entertaining and intriguing one to watch.
