However, fans who disagreed with the list, were quick to flood the comments section, offering their take on the hot topic. They wrote:

"Silva and Jones both got caught for steroids. Remove both and add Fedor [Emelianenko] instead."
"Conor [McGregor] instead of Khabib."
"Khabib didn't do enough. Injured a bunch early on and didn't dominate long enough nor faced all the top guys of his time. I mean he won the belt vs a short notice Al Iaquinta."

"Why Khabib is there, is beyond me. Connor put him on the map - on his own, nobody would even know his name."
"I’d put DC [Daniel Cormier] instead of Khabib. Even with his losses, he fought higher-caliber competition for far longer. Strikeforce champ [and] UFC champ champ."

Johnson left the UFC after a split-decision loss to Henry Cejudo and joined the Singapore-based organization. He collected a 5-1 record in the promotion and has generated solid viewership through his YouTube channel, where he posts vlogs and interviews with fighters.

Former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno, who has trained with Johnson in the past, reacted to the news of Johnson's retirement in an interview with MMA Junkie. He said:

“Incredible! I actually had the opportunity to meet with him a few weeks ago. I trained with him. He’s an incredible person and very cool, chill guy.” [H/t: MMA Junkie]

Moreno added:

"He’s a legend of the sport, and he’s at a bare minimum top-five greatest of all time. So yeah, all the best to him. He’s now doing a career as a jiu-jitsu fighter. He competed in the world masters a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. He was very close to getting gold. He’s got tons of energy left, maybe not in professional MMA, because he’s already done a lot for the sport, but we’ll continue to see him.”
