Combatants in the UFC rely on their athletic prowess for a living, just like any other professional athlete. In light of this, it is important to note that several UFC fighters have been caught using steroids to improve their physical abilities despite the fact that doing so is against the rules.

In and out of the competition, all athletes are subjected to drug testing to ensure they are not using any prohibited substances. Since 2015, the organization has worked with USADA, the world's leading anti-doping organization, to ensure a drug-free competitive environment. They are responsible for conducting tests, analyzing the results, and enforcing penalties against infractions by fighters.

UFC bantamweight contender Brian Kelleher opened up a discussion on Twitter, asking fans who they consider are still under the influence of steroids:

"3 ufc fighters you think are for sure on steroids.. go ?"

Conor McGregor, who withdrew from the drug testing pool while recovering from a leg injury, and Jon Jones, who has a history of several failed drug tests, were named by one fan under the post:

"Conor [McGregor], [Jon] Jones, [Sergei] Pavlovich."

McGregor was a common name on most of the picks made by fans, as another fan wrote:

"Paulo Costa, Conor McGregor, Michael Chandler"

One fan speculated that Israel Adesanya's swelling in his right pectoral chest muscle, particularly before the fight against Paulo Costa, evokes skepticism:

"William Knight, Usman and McGregor. I want to believe Izzy is clean but that Gyno says he juiced at least for the Costa fight."

Will Conor McGregor's absence from the drug testing pool have any effect on his coaching duties on UFC's The Ultimate Fighter?

Conor McGregor will return to active competition after spending over a year away from it. Michael Chandler and 'The Notorious' will serve as coaches on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

Since his last bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor has been out of action recuperating from a leg injury. The Irishman left the USADA testing pool to recover from his injuries. However, the current rules require him to remain in the pool for six months prior to resuming competition.

ESPN MMA reporter Marc Raimondi clarified the situation via Twitter, stating:

"Conor McGregor has not re-entered the USADA drug-testing pool as of today, according to the agency. USADA reiterated that he would need to be in the pool for six months and pass at least two drug tests to compete again in the UFC."

Raimondi added that the absence would not hamper his role as a coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter:

"Of course, McGregor can still coach TUF without being in the USADA drug-testing pool. There is still time for him to re-enter the pool for a fight in late August or September after the TUF season airs, which is what I fully expect to happen."
