Conor McGregor celebrates daughter Croía's fourth birthday with a series of heartwarming snaps 

Conor McGregor is starting the new year with the celebration of his daughter Croía Mairéad McGregor's fourth birthday. 'The Notorious' posted a series of pictures of him doting Croía on his yacht.

Croía McGregor is the middle child of Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin. The couple's oldest child is Conor Jack McGregor Jr., who is five, while the youngest is Rían McGregor, who was born in 2021.

The caption to the post read:

"My baby girl is 4!! I love you so much Croía Mairéad McGregor my Angel on earth."

Many people reacted to the heartwarming post with wishes for Conor McGregor's four-year-old daughter, including from Erin McGregor, Bellator bantamweight fighter Brian Moore, UFC veteran Jens Pulver and coach Owen Roddy.

While McGregor has made headlines in the past due to many infractions and is known for his brash and uncompromising personality, 'The Notorious' appears to be an extremely doting father. He has not shied away from showing his love and affection towards his children.

Conor McGregor's UFC career so far

Conor McGregor has had one of the most stellar rises in the UFC. Like him or hate him, it's hard to deny that 'The Notorious' changed the sport of MMA forever. His brash persona and unwillingness to compromise, whether right or wrong, has left an indelible mark on the sport.

McGregor entered the UFC with a 12-2 record and tore through the organization's 145-pound division, remaining undefeated in that weight class in the promotion. At featherweight, he beat the likes of Max Holloway, Dustin Poirier and José Aldo to win the featherweight title.

After a lightweight title fight with the then champion Rafael dos Anjos fell through, McGregor made a massive jump to welterweight, losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. The bout with Diaz marked McGregor's first promotional loss. He was able to find redemption in his rematch with Diaz at UFC 202, winning via majority decision.

Following his rematch, McGregor faced Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title at UFC 205, putting on a striking clinic on 'The Underground King' and finishing him in the second round. With that, he became the UFC's first-ever simultaneous two-division champion. However, he didn't defend either belt.

Of late, McGregor's shine in the octagon seems to have worn off. He suffered a brutal beatdown and defeat at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. He found success in his very next bout against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246, winning the welterweight bout in the first round.

That success, however, was shortlived as he suffered his first knockout loss at the hands of Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. In the very next bout, which was a rematch with 'The Diamond', he lost via TKO after breaking his leg in the first round.

It's unclear when McGregor will return to the octagon.
