It looks like Conor McGregor isn't a big fan of the influencer-to-professional-boxer and exhibition bout trend that has taken the boxing world by storm. While discussing his teammate Dillon Danis' forthcoming crossover boxing match against British YouTuber KSI, McGregor said that he is not a fan of this genre of boxing.

Dillon Danis, McGregor's training partner since his hotly contested rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, is scheduled to make his long-awaited comeback to combat sports against YouTube sensation KSI in his boxing debut on January 14.

Conor McGregor responded to Danis' recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour by extending his support for 'El Jefe'. KSI chimed in and informed the Irishman that he will inflict "severe damage" on McGregor's teammate.

McGregor shot back at KSI, saying he "could care less" about the boxing niche and hopes to see Dillon Danis back in MMA soon:

"Brother you’re a friendly little nerd I don’t care. He should be back doing mma if he is doing this little nothing burger match with you. I couldn’t care less about this genre of boxing, I am sorry. Have a good one."

In November 2016, during the height of his performance and popularity in mixed martial arts, Conor McGregor competed against KSI in the EA Sports UFC 2 video game. During the recent Twitter exchange 'The Notorious' also uploaded an old photo from his first meeting with the British rapper and said that the most recent edition of the UFC video game [EA Sports UFC 4] fell short of his expectations.

Conor McGregor claims that he's excited to witness the upcoming chapter in the Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira rivalry unfold

The rivalry between UFC middleweight fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira is without a doubt one of the most captivating stories in combat sports today. At UFC 281 earlier this year, 'Poatan' dethroned Adesanya to become the new UFC middleweight champion.

Despite the fact that Adesanya has lost three times to Pereira in a rivalry that spans two sports, the prospect of a rematch is as alluring as ever. 'The Last Stylebender' has made it his life mission to get a victory back.

Israel Adesanya is managed by Paradigm Sports, the same company that represents Conor McGregor. Reacting to a video of Pereira's recent sparring session, McGregor stated that he's excited to witness the latest chapter of their rivalry to unfold:

"A really solid fighter this guy is! Stability. Himself and @stylebender is one hell of a rivalry! I can’t wait to see it unfold! Izzy so close each time. No time limit and Izzy still has that belt. Excited for their forthcoming! Team @ParadigmSports all the way!"
