Irish superstar Conor McGregor and boxing manager Eddie Hearn recently met up to discuss venue possibilities for Katie Taylor's next fight.

Hearn took to social media to upload a picture of himself with the Irishman. In the caption of the post, Hearn expressed appreciation for McGregor's support of Taylor.

The dialog between 'The Notorious' and Hearn started when McGregor expressed interest in contributing a whopping $500,000 in order for Taylor to fight at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland for her next fight.

McGregor's statement caught the boxing manager's attention, who replied to the tweet by asking the former UFC champ to connect with him for a conversation.

McGregor then probed further and asked Hearn for details on the matter:

"What’s the craic lad. Give me the current landscape. I’m in. Is this doable still? Or is it a double show, the point first with croke park later in year, post the GAA season? I’m in either way. She better be getting her worth for this also."

Katie Taylor is expected to fight Amanda Serrano in a rematch in May. The event is expected to take place in Ireland, but as of yet, no announcement has been made regarding the venue.

The two previously fought in June 2022 at the prestigious Madison Square Garden Arena in New York. The bout was a razor-close affair that ended with a split decision victory for 'The Bray Bomber'.

With the victory, Taylor successfully defended her WBO, WBC, WBA, IBF, and The Ring lightweight titles.

Perth looks fuckin’ tasty too, now I see why so many Irish are there. I should’ve went out, former titles on the line. Congrats to all at UFC," wrote Conor McGregor.
