Irish superstar Conor McGregor has provided an update on his recovery from a recent road accident.

'The Notorious' uploaded a picture of himself on Instagram, getting treatment on his shoulder after the accident.

In the caption, McGregor spoke about the trauma of the road accident. The Irishman also sent his wishes to the people of Turkey and Syria.

Turkey and Syria were recently hit by a massive earthquake which caused a huge loss of life in both countries. The death toll from the calamity is over 25000 now.

"Got a bang of a car full speed. Feel good tho but defo some trauma. Appreciate the help from my long time masseuse and friend, doctor pain Vasile Bria. God bless all of those in Turkey and Syria currently! Mother Nature please go easy on our bodies. God please, our souls,"

Conor McGregor was recently in the headlines as he got into an accident while riding his bicycle in the Irish countryside. McGregor was hit by a car from behind as the driver could not see 'The Notorious' due to the sunlight.

McGregor then uploaded a post showing a picture of the accident and also a video of him conversing with the driver of the car:

"Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me. Full speed straight thru me. Thank you God, it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life."

Conor McGregor is all set to appear on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter

Once again, Conor McGregor will take up coaching duties on the 31st season of UFC's cult show The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The Irishman will be up against Michael Chandler on the show. McGregor previously hosted the 22nd season of the show against Urijah Faber.

Following the show, the two athletes will face off in the octagon in 2023. Although no official date for the fight has been announced, the MMA world will definitely be glued to the screen whenever the Irishman steps foot inside the octagon again.

Many believe that with a possible victory over Chandler, McGregor might line himself up for a title shot. Considering his star power and the impact he has had on the sport, a title shot after just one win does not seem like a possibility for 'The Notorious'.
