Dillon Danis has just drawn the ire of Nina-Marie Daniele, with the social media influencer responding to his taunts with a cutting remark of her own. Daniele had shared a selfie on X, jokingly asking her followers if her forehead had grown, to which Danis insulted her by claiming that her stomach had.

Naturally, this drew Daniele's attention, and she didn't take too kindly to the former Bellator fighter's attempts at trolling her. So, she responded in kind, poking fun at Danis' past failure to sign with the UFC, despite campaigning for a spot on the roster.

Danis' failed efforts to sign with the UFC is one of several setbacks he has faced in recent memory. Before Dana White dismissed any interest in bringing the Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist into the fold, he suffered a disqualification loss to Logan Paul in the pair's infamous boxing match.

After mounting little to no offense, Danis attempted, but failed, a takedown and a guillotine choke, leading to his disqualification. Moreover, he has also been embroiled in a lawsuit with 'Maverick's' fianceé, Nina Agdal, who he had targeted in a controversial and defamatory social media campaign.

His issues with Daniele, however, are odd, as the social media influencer generally maintains a good relationship with even the most volatile fighters. Whether this was merely a ploy by Danis to keep his name in the news cycle and whether he regarded Daniele as a relevant, but easy, target, is an open question.
